He picked at the sheets, looking disappointed, his eyes downcast. Even his horns seemed to droop a little. "Could you ever consider staying here with me?" He asked, glancing up at her.

How could such an evil being claim to want affections? He must have just been putting on an act. Trying to get her to open up her human sympathies and feel for him, pity him. But she didn't. He kidnapped her. So she answered his question with silence.

Ixom shifted on the bed, finding her silence most unpleasant. "Please don't give me the silent treatment, love," he said, finally cracking to it, "it gives me a rash!"

"Good." she spat at him, the words muffled by the pillow.

Ixom winced from her words. "Must you be so harsh?" He asked.

"You're a demon. Get over yourself!" she said.

He frowned at her. "I'm just trying to help you get accustomed to this, though you keep pushing my help away."

"Get accustomed to this?? To being a prisoner? To be stuck her day after day after being kidnapped from my home? Never mind the fact that all I have to wear is this tee shirt."

Ixom grimaced. "Right...I forgot to give you enough time to change." He got to his feet and snapped his fingers. A whole rack of clothing appearing in the middle of the room and he gestured to it, giving her a small smile. "Pick whatever you want."

She just looked at him and scowled. "You can't by me," she said angrily.

"I'm not trying to buy you, I'm trying to make your comfortable," he wearily replied.

"Well good luck. Because that's not going to happen!" she said, curling into a ball.

"You know, you look so helpless when you do that," Ixom commented, walking around the line of clothes and sitting down on a large chair. "It makes me feel a little bad doing this..."

"Oh so the demon feels guilt?" she asked bitterly.

[mationix]

Ixom pressed his fingertips together, staring at her, before replying, "Mm...kind of."

She curled her lips and knitted her eyebrows together, he was useless. She'd rather be dead than be here.

"I'm surprised you aren't gloating," he commented, blinking at her. "I was sure you would start to do that by now."

"What reasons would I possibly have to gloat about?" she snorted.

[mationix]

"Well, you finally made me feel guilt, that's worth gloating about," he said, leaning his cheek against his fist.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. She was actually surprised this... beast, hadn't raped her yet.
