"From him, yes," Hareena chuckled softly.

"I think I need to go to the infirmary," Cassel said softly. Then he passed out again.

"Oh god..Cassel.." Hareena ignored the pain in her abdomen as she hooked her hands under his armpits and hauled him up.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel was about average weight for a guy... which meant he was ridiculously heavy for her. And he was out-cold, so there'd be no help from him.

Hareena huffed and continued her attempt at pulling Cassel out of the classroom to down the hallway.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Just then, someone happened by, a young man with dark hair. Ray Salas, teacher at the school. His eyes widened when he saw them--Cassel unconscious and both of them covered in blood. He rushed over. "What happened?" he demanded.

"We were attacked," Hareena felt a bit of relief when Ray appeared. She wasn't sure how much longer she could go without losing consciousness, "Stabbed. Please, help.."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Ray picked Cassel up like he weighed nothing. He started down the hall, but paused when he realized Hareena's state wasn't much better. "Can you make it there?" he asked her.

"I'll be fine," Hareena grunted, pressing her hand against her belly.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Ray studied her for a moment before nodding. The students there were trained to be tough, if not necessarily fighters. "Come on." He hurried down the hallway, Cassel in his arms. Luckily for them, the infirmary was downstairs, so they only had to make to the end of the hallway and around the corner.

She took a deep breath, following him closely, "The person is gone. Left."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"You can tell me everything when we get there," Ray said. He opened the door and stepped inside, holding the door open for her with his foot.

She kept a steady pace, trying to keep her heart rate down as she moved.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Ray laid Cassel in one of the beds and motioned for Hareena to sit down on another. He paged one of the doctors, and then turned back to her. "Alright, tell me everything."

She all but collapsed on the cot, taking a deep breath, "He was supposed to meet me..but when Cassel never showed up, I went looking for him."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Ray was curious about their relationship, but he knew it was none of his business whether they were friends or something more. It wasn't important, either. "And then?" he prompted.

"I found him. He was in that classroom and he was being attacked. I don't..I don't know who the person was. I didn't recognize him." Hareena shook her head.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Ray narrowed his eyes. "Do you know of a reason someone would want to hurt Cassel?"

"No, but...I saw them. Before, a while ago. I saw someone kill Cassel," Hareena looked over at him and pursed his lips, "I've never tried to stop my vision before, but..I couldn't let him die."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Did you get a good look at their face?" Ray asked. "If you could talk to a sketch artist, maybe we could find this person."
