"Infirmary," Hareena took a deep breath and closed her eyes against the spinning world.

Cassel listened to the silence and determined that was no one else in the room. "Where is everyone?"

"I..don't know. Ray helped us here. No one was here when we got here," Hareena admitted, taking a deep breath.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Where did Ray go?" Cassel asked. He felt exhaustion creeping back into him, and it was all he could do to keep his eyes open.

"Off..somewhere," Hareena hadn't really been listening to Ray, since she was just as exhausted as Cassel.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"I think... I'm gonna..." His voice trailed off as he passed out again, unable to finish his sentence.

"C-Cassel?" Hareena turned to look at him.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

No answer. His chest was rising and falling as he breathed, though, so he wasn't dead.

She sighed and laid back down, closing her eyes.

(Any ideas? I was thinking that something happened while they were fighting)

(Like maybe they were attacked, possibly by the people who employed the assassin or maybe another organization. It could be the government or something)

(Okay, that would explain why everyone was gone. Should it be like an anti-mutant organization?)

Hareena slowly scooted her legs off the cot and stood up. Ray was gone an awful long time, so she had to get up and check on him.

Cassel was still out, but his breathing was steady and a little color had come back into his cheeks. He'd be fine while she was gone.

She took a deep breath and walked slowly to the Infirmary door, peeking out into the hallway, "Ray?"

Silence. Then a thud sounded from overhead, followed by a muffled shout.

Hareena looked hesitant. Her powers didn't help her in combat much. She slunk out into the hallway and glanced around.

"You won't get away with this." Ray's voice, coming from a outside.
