Leo laughed and grabbed her hand. He entwined his fingers with hers and kissed her again. "You are too."

Phoenix blushed and squeezed his hand, "You think so? I've never considered myself that."

"Well, you are," Leo said. "Sexy and gorgeous and amazing."

Phoenix laughed, leaning in to kiss his cheek, "No one has ever said that to me before."

"That's because everyone else in the world is blind," Leo declared.

She grinned and traced her fingertip down his nose, "You think so? I find that a little hard to believe."

He gave her a crooked smile. "There is more than one way to be blind, mio amore."

Phoenix lightly pushed his hair back, "That's true.."

Leo reached up and caught her hand, bringing it down to lightly press his lips against it. "Can we stop the chick-flick moment now? It's ruining my manhood."

"Would you like some explosions in the background to make it manlier?" Phoenix smirked.

Leo nodded seriously. "That would help."

Phoenix flicked her fingers, little flames leaping to life, "I can't do explosions, is this good enough?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

A slow smile spread on his lips. He hovered his fingertips just over the flames, but not close enough to burn himself. "You're getting better."

"I've been practicing," Phoenix let the flame flicker, rolling it between her fingers and back to settle in her palm. She closed her hand around it and the tiny bit of fire dissipated, "I wanted to control it better."

"You're amazing," he said. "It took me years to even understand what I could do."

Phoenix blushed, "I wouldn't say it's that amazing. I just wanted to try hard to let you know that I'm serious about all of this."

"You'll make an amazing scout one day," he said. "If, of course, that's what you want to do."

Phoenix nestled her head on Leo's shoulder, "Yeah, I think it would be a good thing for me to do."

Leo stroke her hair absently. "You can save a lot of lives. Help a lot of people."
