Phoenix closed her eyes, allowing herself to relax into Leo's embrace. There was something natural about it.

Phoenix nuzzled her nose against Leo's shoulder, her body feeling heavy and loose. She was happy, though- there was no regret at what they'd done.

Leo had his eyes closed, his arm wrapped around her, holding her close to his body. His breathing had slowed down, but he still felt adrenaline coursing through him. He'd never felt so alive.

(Okay- SW okay with you?)

She placed her hand on his chest, over his heart, and let out a little sigh, "I love you too, Leo," Phoenix murmured softly.

(Yup!)

"Well," he said breathily. "That's a relief." He looked down, a crooked smile on his face.

Phoenix laughed, her body curling tighter against him, "How long have you felt this way?"

"A long time," he murmured. "I don't believe in love at first site, but..."

She smiled, pressing her lips against his jawline, "Do you really mean that?"

"Yeah, I do." He ran his fingers in circles on her back. "You were--are--amazing. I couldn't help myself from falling."

Phoenix blushed, her cheeks bright red, "You intimidated me when we first met," she admitted, "But I couldn't help myself from talking to you."

"I'm just that awesome," Leo said, smiling faintly.

"You are!" Phoenix agreed, her smile brighter than his, "But I'm lad I couldn't stay away."

"Me too." He tilted his chin and kissed her briefly.

Phoenix smiled and cupped his cheek, her thumb brushing over his cheekbone, "I love you."

"Due to the risk of sounding corny, I'm not going to say 'I love you more.'" He reached over and tapped her nose. "Oh wait, I just did."

"It's okay, I like corny," Phoenix smiled, wrinkling her nose, "Especially from you."

Leo huffed a soft laugh. "That frightens me a little. A guy like me shouldn't be corny."

Phoenix traced his bottom lip with her index finger, "I think it's cute."

"Again... cute." Leo grimaced. "I prefer sexy."
