He kept pulling until the latch broke free- no wonder, it was so rusted over.

Immediately, a soft orange light broke out over them. As they climbed up, it was obvious why. They entered into probably the smallest room the house had (though it was still decently big for normal people. The room was filled with red candles everywhere, all of them strategically placed it seemed, because one side of the room mirrored the other. But that's not what caught Lane's attention.

There, in the middle of the farthest wall, was a large circular bed with red covers draped across it. On it was a gorgeous girl with raven black hair that came to about her shoulders and a bit past. Her skin was milky white and she had lovely full lips. She was curled up, but Lane noted that she had mirror tattoos on her shoulders and he could spot a faint bit of one on her stomach. She also had large bat like wings extended from her back. Her eyes were closed and she looked peacefully asleep. She looked absolutely flawless, even with her odd assets, especially since she was completely naked.

It was the succubus.

Jaxx followed Lane up and literally leapt for joy. "Mistress!!!" He cried, and ran forward, but froze suddenly. "There's a barrier!" Jaxx cried, falling back onto his bottom in sadness. There was indeed a large pentagram created with white candles surrounding the succubus. It must be what kept her locked away, and hidden from Jaxx

He stared as he approached, carefully reaching out where the barrier started, "Barrier? Made of what?"

"Magic. Spell the old Humies cast." Jaxx said with a sigh. But then he perked up and leapt to his feet, facing Lane. "You!!! You could break the barrier, Tallsy! It not as strong after so long. Probably." He said with a shrug. "You know how to? We gonna need spell book! Magic!" Jaxx said.

Lucky for Lane, he had the ultimate spell book:

Lane frowned, "I don't own a spell book..but I'm sure I could look one up."

Jaxx leapt for joy. "Yes! Yes! Please hurry Tallsy! Jaxx wants mistress back!" The little Imp cried, glomping Lane's leg in a hug. The little imp was really shaking, and who could blame him? It had been so many years since the little guy had seen his Master, who had been sealed away from his very senses. That and all his fellow Imps had been vanquished too. He had been all alone this whole time before Lane came

"Come on, we have to go back to my room, to find my computer," Lane instructed.

Jaxx looked up at him and nodded, letting go of his leg before hopping back down the latch they came in from, lighting the way down with his glowing claws as he descended back to the basement

He followed after Jaxx with one last look at the succubus.

Jaxx and them soon reached the bottom, but Jaxx froze and disappeared suddenly. "Humy!" He whispered urgently from his hiding spot. And indeed there was the sound of footsteps approaching (spoiler: it's Blair XD)

"Lane?" Blaire's voice floated through the basement and he scrambled to slip out of the secret little passage. He nearly tripped over some of the furniture, attempting to look calm.

"Yeah? I'm here. Just..exploring," Lane replied, clearing his throat.

As he moved away, Jaxx cleverly snuck behind him and quietly shut the secret door, nodding to Lane before disappearing back into the shadows. Luckily, the sim lighting that had caused so much trouble before came in handy now

"You rarely ever come down here," Blaire sounded confused as he got closer, "Why now?"

Lane chuckled, "I've been feeling adventurous."

Jaxx remained silent. In fact, the whole basement was silent other than the two boys conversing. There was definitely a tension in the air, almost as if it were waiting for something.

He would have invoke another spell that would destroy the barrier and put out the candles that keep her in the pentagram. So basically a chanting sort of thing with some concentration. It'll cause quite a crazy stir when he has to do it. I can take care of the special effects ))

Carrying a printed piece of paper, Lane snuck back into the basement, shining a flashlight at the little crack in the wall.

Jaxx had waited for him. Dodging around the people upstairs would've been too much of a risk now since they've come so close. Jaxx came out of his hiding place and bounced in excitement. "Tallsy! We ready? Free mistress?" He asked

"This should do the trick," Lane nodded, holding up the paper and shining a flashlight on it.

"Them lets go!" Jaxx squeaked , quickly prying open the secret down and scurrying inside. He was already halfway up the ladder when Lane managed to squeeze through, and soon endothermic the little Imp disappeared in the hidden room above
