Rule Number 9: Be Forgettable (Sin!)

In the morning, after Nonie had finally fallen asleep despite her warring emotions, Nonie woke up and stretched, feeling her back pop and crack from the stiffness of her sleeping position. She groaned in satisfaction as she stood up and popped practically every joint in her body in order to loosen them up, and then stood there. Her turmoil from yesterday night soon returned to her mind with a vengeance. She had kissed a girl. She had kissed Della, a gang member. And then Della kissed her. And Nonie hadn't been able to respond. Sighing heavily, Nonie buried her face in her hands. Never mind that she was worried about never leaving. Now she had to worry about her "roommate" possibly hating or hitting on her. Why had she kissed her in the first place!? If only she hadn't been a coward and just went back outside the room to ask for water, this would've never happened

Della had awoken long before Nonie and had gotten a glass of water, she still felt cold though she was sweating. But she did feel much better. She had covered Nonie sho had been asleep before returning to being covered in the blankets. She kept her back turned to Nonie when she awoke, and squeezed her eyes shut in pain. She never should have kissed her again.

Nonie glanced up at Della, and concern for the other girl soon overrode her own fears. She walked over and leaned over Della, biting her bottom lip for a moment before speaking. "....H-How are you feeling? Better?" She questioned softly, shuffling on her feet a little. Sometimes she hated her big sister complex, but she had no choice. It was who Nonie was, for better or for worse.

She stayed silent, shaking her head before she heard a loud raspy knock on the door. She pulled the covers over her face before the door swung open to a shorter, more feminine boy with a golden fists tattoo on his arm. He was frowning, and glared at Nonie,"who are you?" He snapped angrily.

Nonie yelped and backed away swiftly from Della, holding up her hands to show she was unarmed. "I-I'm just a concerned, um, guest! I, uh, took D-Della home. I-I found her outside my home and decided to help her. T-That's all, I swear!" She said, her voice a nervous squeak. Oh jeez, this was what she was afraid of! Now she was in for it! Involuntarily, Nonie's eyes darted around the room for an escape

The boy grabbed her throat and slammed her on the ground,"why are you trying to get away!" He growled with firece anger. Before he could hurt her. Della jumped out of the bed and tackled him, coughing and in pain, curling up in pain once he was off of Nonie.

Nonie rubbed her throat, but yelped when Della fell on the floor curled up in pain. "Della!" She rasped, her throat slightly sore from the boy grabbing it. She stumbled to her feet, a bit dizzy from her head hitting the floor, and hurried to Della's side. "Della! You can't move so quickly!" Nonie said, concern coloring her features

She coughed in pain and curled into Nonie,"im sorry, forgive him..." She mumbled, her body aching with sickness.
"Della!" He yelled beforee rushing to her side beside Nonie, watching how Dells curled up to the unknown woman.

Nonie smoothed out Della's hair, a slight smile curling her lips. It was so strange to here a gang member apologize. It made them seem more human. "It's alright. I mean, I'd react the same way if I saw some random person in my friend's bedroom." Nonie said. Then she blinked and her cheeks colored. When she put it that way... "Oh god, that sounds so..." Then she remembered the other guy in the room. "O-oh! We- we weren't. Um, that is- I never touched her! Er, not that way!" Nonie stumbled out quickly, averting her eyes from the boy.

Della wished she would stay but she couldn't stop her and she doubted her brother would. She ler nonie go and was placed back in the bed to rest.

Nonie watched as Della was placed back in bed. "Will... will she be alright?" Nonie chanced to ask the boy. She tried to tread carefully around him, especially after his reaction before. Angering him seemed like a big no-no.

He frowned,"she gets sick often, she will get over it soon, with lots of sleep and a hot bath in the morning" he said softly, setting her down gently.

"Oh..." Nonie says softly, watching Della before looking up at the boy again. Dare she ask? Well, she had nothing to lose really. "Um... What time is it?" Nonie questioned, wringing her hands nervously

"Its almost 2" he said before gazing at her,"why?"

Nonie shrugged. "I just.... just wanted to know, ya know...." She said awkwardly before returning to her spot on the floor, sitting. "I was just unsure is all..." She murmured, glancing warily at the boy.

He nodded then looked away from her, he could hear hercsit on the ground which didn't bother him. He tucked Della in then looked to her,"I'm leaving, you can either sleep in here or in the guest room down stairs."

I'm sorry I disappeared for so long! I was really busy with school and other things, so I never got a chance to get on the site again! Then I couldn't find the site and everything went a little crazy. I'd still love to rp if you'll still have me.))

Nonie blinked at him and pulled her legs to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. Should she stay in this room? Wouldn't that make her even harder to forget? But then again, Nonie had a feeling she had already passed that line. She had done too much. Besides, Della seemed like the safest one to be with right now. She was the only person in this house Nonie could claim to sort of know. Nonie still felt a bit responsible for her as well.

So, with that in mind, Nonie shook her head. "I'll stay here. I-if that's o-ok." She answered

As the door shut upon the leave of the boy Della sighed in her sleep and rolled over causing her to whimper softly. The air in the room diffused of the tenseness caused by him. Della seemed more relaxed but with the pain of rollingover the sheets curled with her body.

Nonie heard her whimper and looked up. Della had curled up. "H-hey!" Scrambling to her feet again, Nonie walked to the side of the bed. "Be careful! Moving too much will hurt you." She said, looking worried on e more. She really was a worrier. And over a gang member no less, but Della seemed nice.

Della looked up at her and sighed softly,"sorry" she mumbled sleepily. She planted her face in the pillow and sighed softly as she was readjusted so she wasnt in as much pain as before.
