I was thinking of doing a time traveling thread. I was thinking like a Doctor Who-esque plot: time traveler comes down to earth or a different planet for help. S/he picks up a companion to go on fantastical adventures and the like.

I don't really know if that's a solid start, but it's something. Anyone interested?
