Kit stood as well, motioning Catherine to follow. The girl got to her feet, holding her skirt with one hand.

As they followed, Cat clenched her jaw, "She took your letter," she mumbled.

"Cat, please, just behave. She's been very kind so far," Kit hissed, looking at Princess Faerydae.

" I'm trying to help my half-siblings, but for now you're in MY castle.. Remember that," she calls over her shoulder as she leads them through the halls

Scout comes up between them," Have you two ever fought in a battle? Or seen one?" He asks gently

"Never in a true battle with armor and the like," Kit glanced over at Scout, "I've fought plenty, though. You sort of have to if you want to protect yourself."

"Give me a dagger or blade and I'll do just fine," Catherine muttered.

" Thendont judge her too harshly," Scout murmurs gently," Shes fought dragons, dragonlords, drug lords, beasts, mages, you name it... Shes been through alot of pain.."

Kit nodded, "I can understand that," he murmured sadly.

Scout nots and looks at Cat, as if expecting her to reply," Shes even cursed... I dont know what else you want from her."

"I only expect that I won't have to see Kit's head cut off for simply being himself," Catherine answered coolly, her dark eyes narrowed.

" Fae's fair... She'd probably help you escape," scout murmurs as Fae opens huge double doors

Kit sighed and followed. He understood Cat's worry, but he was trying to stay positive.

" eh..?" An old dusty voice rasps
