"Once you're better, I'll get you outta here, Sasha." Ash murmured, brushing the hair out of the boy's eyes. He needed to keep Donato away from him. They had already lost their parents. I don't need to lose a brother, Ash thought to himself with a frown. He and Sasha had grown up in different parts of the house to keep them separated, but they always found a way to hang out, mainly because they were both so rebellious. Shasta changed his name to Sasha, so that no one would take advantage of his fame and his body any more, and Ash had shortened his name to keep Sasha safe.

Donato entered his room and slammed the door shut behind them. They had no idea. NO idea! No one did. Everyone just assumed he was some low-life, born on the streets. Besides, he didn't need to be high-born to be Shasta's prince. But whatever, he was done. If Ash wanted Shasta, he could have him. He was DONE.

Ash hugged Shasta close to his chest, closing his eyes tight. "I promised. And I will always keep my promise."

Shasta had got better a week later, and now, at 2AM, Ash and he were getting ready to leave. Ash told Shasta about Donato's disinterest in the boy, and the brunette/blonde was extremely saddened by it, seeing as he truthfully thought he loved the Italian. But now... Well, he had to leave. He couldn't hurt any more.
