Ronin looked down at his shoes for a second. Then he put on a smile and turned to face his parents. It was better if they didn't know. "Of course we are," he said. "We just... got closer after you kicked us out." His smile vanished at his last words, and he stared his parents down with a steely face.

The mother's face grew saddened. "We apologize for kicking you out... We were scared... But maybe we can allow you to live with us again?" She smiled hopefully at her husband.

"I have work." Seyong replied to his mother while straightening up, gaze narrowed as he stared passed Ronin at the wall. "I can't stay here for longer than three days."

The older male shot his wife a warning look and she sighed.

The werecat stiffened at the whining voice of his mother before turning his head and cursing at her. He stalked out of the house then, heading to the truck to hop in and leave the grounds entirely.
