Cei watched them go, silent. Princess Colene was quite small, even for a girl. He wondered why she wasn't allowed out.

She walked inside the house with Carter helping her and glided up to her room, watching for her siblings.

He looked down at his rose and smiled softly before going inside. He had to get to the kitchen before he got in trouble.

After Carter had helped her to her room and had her situated he went down to get her lunch from the kitchen, seeing Cei he said "your lucky child, seeing Lady Colene, not many have, even the servants" he said coming up beside him

Cei was scrubbing at a large pot and he nearly jumped when Carter talked to him. Glancing up, he murmured, "Why not? Why is she k-kept away?"

"She is wanted" he said simply "by the other households, they wish for her body" he said.

He tilted his head, "...Why?"

"Her beauty" he said grabbing food and preparing it.

"So she can't go out even with guards?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

He shook his head no "sadly, that poor sweet girl deserves to be able to but as soon as shes seen all he*l brakes lose" he said shaking his head.

"Huh," He sat back and examined the pot, making sure it was spotless, "That seems very dumb."

"It is" he said then finishing off the now beautifully presented and delectable food.

Cei glanced over at the rose that he set aside, "Do you work specifically for her?"

"Yes, she owns me" he said

Cei frowned and nodded, "But you care for her, don't you?"

"I have sympathy, but no feelings other than that" he said

Cei nodded and grabbed another pot to clean. He never had much feeling toward his masters, other than fear. He would probably never be able to hurt them, but he wasn't sure he could like them either, "C-Carter, how did you get here?"
