"Huh," Fatin shrugged, figuring that it was Meira's personal business as to why, "Well, alright."

Meira only smiled as they continued eating. However, as soon as they were done, one servant came running in. "Meira! Another one of your suitors has arrived!" The girl shouted. Everyone looked up and Meira stood slowly, a sly smile coming to her red lips. "Then we simply mustn't keep him waiting, yes?" She said. Many of the girls laughed while others grinned and smiled. "Fatin, you should come to see how we deal with these men. It is quite fun." Meira said with a wink, motioning to a few other girls, Maura included, to follow her as they set off

Fatin hopped up and hurried after the other maids, her mind buzzing with curiosity. How did they deal with these men? No doubt it would be funny.

"What should we do this time?" One of the maids asked. Meira thought for a second before snapping her fingers. "Are the children still up?" She asked.

"We can get them." One other maid said.

"Brilliant! Have them be ready in the gardens with as much fruit as they can carry, but keep them hidden. We the man comes in, I'll signal for you to let the kids loose." Meira says with a grin. The two maids nodded and broke off to get the children

"You're going to pelt him with fruit?" Fatin laughed.

"Me? Of course not. Why would I ever do that?" She said innocently, though her eyes twinkled as they went to the greeting room, where a finely dressed man was waiting. Meira smiled. "Hello Lord Centric." She said kindly. The man bowed to her.

"Lady Meira. As lovely as they say." He replied. Meira smiled and clasped her hands together. "Why thank you. But it's such a lovely day, we should go to the gardens instead to chat."

Fatin bowed her head and smiled slightly.

The Lord followed her to the garden where they sat on a bench. The servants went off to do 'servantly' things but listened all the while. "So, Lord Centric. Why have you graced me with your visit today?" She asked

"Why, to ask for permission to court such a lovely flower such as you." He replied with a smile. Meira smiled back. "How sweet of you. You're very kind to flatter me with such attention." She said. In the bushes and near the edges, the children were gathering. Hidden to all but the trained or observant eye

Fatin followed Maura around, just listening to what she told her to do.

Maura winked at her. "Get ready to scold the kids as if they were bad." Maura said. Meira is listening to Centric before she frowns and raises her hand as if to adjust her bracket on her hand. "The signal! Go!" One of the maids whispered to the kids. With a thunderous yell, the kids burst out, throwing the fruit at the two figures and each other without mercy. Centric yelps and covers his head in vain before finally fleeing from the garden and palace. After a few moments of silence, Meira picks up a small child and swings hem around laughing as everyone beers at the victory. "Another suitor down." One servant says. "He'll think twice before coming back!" A other says. "Can we do that again?!" The child Meira picked up asks. Meira, who is covered in fruit juice, Laughs. "Of course! There's bound to be more."

Fatin laughed, "It's a wonder there are no rumors about you scaring away so many suitors."

Meira sticks out her tongue at Fatin but then smiles. "Of course. Now then, I guess i need another bath." She says with a sigh, hugging the little girl before putting her down. "Well! Welcome to Yronwood palace life, Fatin." Meira says with a laugh, walking off to the baths again as the servants round up the kids. Maura walks next to Fatin and laughs. "That was fun!"

"It was!" She agreed, sounding a bit surprised about it. This wasn't anything like she expected servant life to be.

Maura laughed. "Well, fun as that was, we should probably get some sleep now. Fun as this is, we do have real duties and all." Maura says, motioning for Fatin to follow as they make their way back to her room

Fatin yawned and nodded, "We just do typical housework, right?"

Maura nodded. "Yep. Pretty much. I'll wake you up for it." She says as they reach her room. "Well, G'night Fatin! Glad to have a new addition to the /family/" She says with a smile

Fatin closed the door softly behind her and leaned her forehead against it. The Yronwood household was a strange one, but in all the best ways. The new handmaiden smiled and stepped away from the door. She frowned when she realized that Maura left before she could even unlace the back of her dress.

Luckily, there was someone approaching near her down, as footsteps could be heard. Maybe it was one of the other servants who could help her?

Fatin paused and listened to the footsteps. She quickly tried to unlace the dress herself, but it was so difficult for just one person.
