Swords piled up quickly next to Neko. Less of them were discarded then the day before and he never tested them... After those hours of not speaking, he asks," How is he getting all these creatures?"

"Finds them....saves them..." Chieva said after many moments of silence, her hammer ringing

"... Twists them... Manipulates them..." He finishes, slamming the hammer in extra hard though calming himself quickly

Chieva frowns angrily and slams her own hammer down, stomping over and slapping him soundly across the face. "No!" She yelled, fuming. "Saves them! Saved me! Slave!" She said, turning and moving her hair, shrugging his histrionic down a little to show the burned branding of a slave. "Took me in. Helped me."

Neko flinches then drops the sword," SO HE WANTS TO TAKE YOU TO DESTROY MORE INNOCENTS?!?" He snarls, his hazel eyes turning into cat-like slits for a moment," IS /THAT/ WHAT YOU WANT TO BE?!? A MURDERER BECAUSE YOU WERE HURT BY SOMEONE ELSE?! HUH?!"

"HE IS NO MURDERER! KING IS!!" She yelled back, tears coming out as she roared at him. "KING KILLED PARENTS! GUARDS RAPED MOTHER!! ALL FOR DUMB WAR WITH OTHER KINGDOM!!! SHADOW LORD TRYING TO SAVE! THAT'S WHY HE CONQUERS TOWNS!!! HE GIVES THEM PROTECTORS!"

Neko falls silent," ... Thats what he said he would do... Wasnt it? Then where's my little brother? He came to us and promised out tribe protection... Where is everyone , huh?" He looks away

"He can't protect all. Only try. His own family was killed." She said softly, roughly rubbing away the tears. "By YOUR king's orders. All dead. Because of lie." She muttered

L i don't HAVE a king!" He snaps, letting the tools go and staggering away," If you think this collar is freedom... You're blind..." He stalls from the forge and stops near the edge of the floating island, staring at the lava below and dinking down... How could the Dark Man not remember when he stormed that tribe? Just one man... Who ripped everything apart but left one child alive..

Chieva followed him, frowning. "What happened?" She asked, touching the collar lightly as she did.

He flinches away from her touch," Your 'savior' stormed my tribe... No one was left alive... But me," He answers coldly," He called us 'demons' just because we're not full monsters or full humans... We're halflings, something humans call 'Nekos'. My real name is Rori.."

Chieva frowns as the collar comes off and she grabs it, taking it off. "How long ago was this?" She asked after a moment

"Been with lord many years. Never heard this. Was never an assault.... Wanted to recruit Neko's. but found it.... Destroyed." She said with a frown, looking at him with confusion

His eyes narrow but he doesnt answer,"..." Rori glances at the shadows of the cavern instead, was that bastard listening..? Was he? Did he remember now?

Chieva was thinking now. "Yes... Remember! Town was found. Was destroyed. Lord was furious. Wanted to help you. But came too late. Ask him, if don't believe. Go to throne room."

Chieva only frowned at him in disappointment. "Not for begging. For answers. Stupid." She said before turning and heading back to the forge as the rock platform came to the ledge, waiting

He watches her angrily... He didnt want to go back to work at the forge... But he wanted answers... But.. Rori stares at the lava bubbling below... Even in his own tribe he'd been an outsider for his... Transformations... Why did he want to avenge them even though he ha dispised them as much as he hated the Dark Man..?

" Because i want to hurt someone.." He mumbles, rubbing his head, he'd always wanted someone to suffer as he had suffered so he used his past as an excuse... How weak..
