A soldier from the grass had been sneaking up on them but the spear had literally gone straight thrugh the man's shoulder.

Prentice smiles faintly and calmly walks to the soldier, stepping on the man's chest and ripping the spear out," Beautiful... Now Ari... I think it'd be wise to go back to the castle, yes?"

Ari stares at the man wide eyes and takes a hesitant step back," But..."

Prentice watches the princess' back until she exits the small meadow before glancing back,"... Starks," he growls softly, the spear twirling in his hands

"They're this close already?" He asked in surprise.

" That was a scout... but they're coming closer, yes.." The hei frowns deeply, looking toward the trees," Well speak of the Stranger.."

As he spoke, a large platoon emerged from the trees to the east

The young knight drew his sword and cursed softly, his shoulders tensing.

the Prince frowns faintly,"... those are only footsoldiers," He murmurs as the soldiers spot them and begin to advance

He ran to his horse and swung himself up, kicking it to run after the Princess.

By then, a group of soldiers hade over taken the princess a mile and a half away... Suddenly a blast of green flames explode from the middle of the horses...

Brinn cursed and steered his horse around the flames.

The soldiers had either beem vaporized with their horses or were burning... The princess was nowhere in sight...
