" I could really use one now," She murmurs, suddenly startig to whistle loudly as a low snarl comes from the shadows. Her green gaze turned to the blackness and Karane merely whistles louder

"That makes two of us," he hisses turning the safety off with a flick of his thumb, "The little S**ts waiting for us to lower our guard,"

" They smell my blood," She hums cheerfully," Don't waste your bullets, we dont have much further," she merely smiles brightly and continues whistling

The snarls seem to multiply and large red pairs of eyes seemed to appear in the blackness to their immediate right

"Yeah," he murmurs keeping his posture rigid. His dark bangs fall over his eyes, but he knew where they were, and how much he really wanted the to get the hell away from him.

Daiki tilts his head a bit to the side tilting an eyebrow. Odd- very, very odd.

Karane nods toward a dark grocery store, not daring to stop whistling even as the red eyes faded away

Daiki moves up to the automatic door and pulls it open, the gears creaking defiantly as he does. Satisfied that he could fit through the opening, he slips inside.
