The younger girl sighed and rolled her eyes, "I'm pretty sure Prim doesn't care about being queen. I know my sister and if she's happy with you, that's all she'll care about. So treat her right. I'm going to stay for a while, just to make sure everything here is alright, but this is not my home."

"Stop talking about me like I'm not here," Prim muttered from the cot.

Cador spun, eyes wide, he'd thought she had fallen asleep. Azaela could think what she wanted but Prim would be able to make her do as she wished. At that moment a man announced himself outside the tent saying they were leaving to pick up the bodies.

Azzie didn't seem as phased, just turned to the tent flap, "I'll be back afterwards. I'll see you later," she muttered, walking out.

Prim rolled over, tucking her blonde hair under her head. She rubbed her eyes, which were red, and sighed, "I don't need you two deciding things for me."

"I know my dear," he said going towards her, he laid down beside her and wrapped his arms around her slender frame "I just can't lose you."

"I never said I was going anywhere," Prim murmured, leaning into his embrace, "I wouldn't just leave for no reason."

Cador nodded and buried his head in her neck, "Good." A pause.. "I love you so much Prim."

Prim ran her fingers through his hair and closed her eyes, "I love you too, Cador."

Cador sighed, closing his eyes as well. He wanted her here, with him. She belonged with him. The men would leave her alone, besides he could go whoever he wanted with her, she could always be with him.

She smiled and kissed his forehead, "You saved my life," Prim whispered, her voice quivering.

He smiled slightly, "I knew something was wrong. I don't know what I would have done if I hasn't made it there on time," he said softly.

Primrose frowned, her fingers tracing gentle patterns on his shoulders, "Azzie was fighting. I would have fought."

"I know baby, but you couldn't," he said, kissing her neck softly, letting his lips linger there.

"Teach me," She tilted her head back just a tad. Opening her eyes, Prim looked up at the ceiling of the tent, "I want to learn how to fight."

Cador nodded. "Me and m men could train you. Everyone specializes in something different and try could teach you all of their skills. Fighting and day to day things if you so wish."

"Yes, I'd like that," Prim smiled and splayed her fingers against his back, "Do you think I could learn to fight well? Be dangerous?"

"I do think so," he said honestly. She was quite and learned very fast.

She looked at him, her blue eyes sparking with some unreadable emotion, "Do you think I could be scary or intimidating?"

"If you put our heart to it. Especially with your power, you couldn't be incredibly intimidating," he said with a small nod.

She thought about it and smiled, kissing his nose gently, "Alright, good. I will work hard, then."

Cador smiled proudly, that was his girl. "Are you going to stay here than?" he asked her softly. the words husky.
