Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, also known as Mutant High by its students, is an academy for mutant children. It was founded by Charles Xavier. Students from 6th grade to 12th may attend the school, although most students are highschoolers, since powers usually manifest around that time. After they graduate, students have an option of become an X-Men. All of the teachers at the school are X-Men, although you don't have to teach to be one.

Ray Salas (Sage)

An 20 year old guy with black hair and chocolate brown eyes. When he first came to the school, he was quiet and secretive, usually withdrawn. He prefered to be alone and he almost never smiled. But then he met Kim. He liked her instantly, and she... changed him. He's more friendly now, or at least tries to be. He might still be considered a "bad boy" in a way. He gets into fights often, because he is angered easily. He seems to have unexplained past that he won't share with anyone. His power is to know things without being told them. He can sense other's emotions and thoughts. He can't HEAR their thoughts, he more of feels them. He knows other information too, like things about the future and the past. He knows a lot more than he lets people in on. He's not really a teacher at Mutant High, but he's too old to be a student. What he really is is an X-Man. RPed by Crystalfrost

Kat Reid (Shadowcat)

A pretty 15 year old girl with brown hair and blue-green eyes. She ran away from home when she found out about her powers, leaving behind her step-brother Troy. She is mostly kind-hearted, though she does have a short temper. She is as loyal as any person out there, and if you win her friendship she would never betray you. Kat can be considered a "dreamer" or an idealist. She likes to think that someday mutants and humans will get along in peace. After a few years at Mutant High, she's learned how to fight and use her powers. She has the ability to turn invisible and pass through objects, and she can also sense other mutant's powers, like her older brother Jonathan. She really likes, and may even love, Jace, but things are always perfect between them. In fact, usually things are really screwed up. Her full name is Katherine. Cassel Singer (Waterbear)

A 17 year old guy with dark brown hair and midnight eyes. He's quiet, secretive, and mainly uncomfortable around other people. Maybe because everyone he ever got close to turned on him... as soon as they found out what he was. Now he's untrusting and closed off, refusing to get close to people. To cover up his awkwardness, though, he usually comes across as a cocky jerk. It usually pretty effectively keeps people away. Plus, he has the good looks to pull it off. Along with his trust problems, he has some temper issues. He gets angry a little to easily, and when he's pissed off, he's dangerous. He has some natural fighting skill, thanks to his power. Ask him what his power is and... well, he'll say he can do a lot of things. Put him in water, he'll grow gills. Throw him in fire, he'll become fireproof. Try to shoot him, he'll be bulletproof. Also, he heals quickly and doesn't need to sleep. Basically, he can adapt to survive. Whenever he needs, he gets. You'd think he'd be super powerful, and in a way he is, but he can't control it. Mace Ewing
	She has the blue eyes that will get anyone lost in a ocean hurricane and the body of a hot Victoria Secret, but Mace isn’t just a pretty face, she is a total Einstein. Mace Ewing is seventeen-year-old rebellious, carefree mutant. But don’t let that out-going, feisty personality blind you; she has it rougher than bark on trees. From an enfant left on the door step of Gear Orphanage in Los Angeles, California to a run away at fifteen. She’s been around most parts of the U.S. and some parts of Mexico and Canada; she’s made a lot of friends and a lot of enemies. Her next stop is Chicago. Mace can merge a small part of her soul-self into objects in order to take control of them, with the object essentially becoming an extension of her soul-self, she’s able to create inanimate matter such as weapons and platforms from nothing, "hitch-hike" other beings' senses and experience what happens as she were the person. This power grants Mace with the ability to taste, feel, smell, see and/or hear from that person’s senses. It allows her to experience the world as her target would, she can become stronger, faster, more durable by emotions of herself and others around her, she can manipulate everything hidden inside her subconscious or those of others (ideas, wishes or desires, traumatic memories, painful emotions…et ctera). This allows her to manipulate the hidden aspects of the mind in various ways. One of them is the ability to arrange memories, as she desires, awaken secrets and information hidden deep in the subconscious, and give shape to
emotions or thoughts hidden inside the mind. She can erase what resides in the subconscious (like her capacity to choose right from wrong) and leave only what she deems "important" making her very strong or very dangerous. Another rare use is the capability to manipulate dreams, able to even create very vivid nightmares, but she hasn’t quite mastered that ability yet. The power she has no control what-so-ever over is the ability to turn others into monsters, this power is called ‘Beast Transformation’. Hareena Skill

A quiet, reserved sixteen year old girl. Her long hair is a mahogany brown color, falling in waves to just below her shoulders. She has round eyes, deep blue like sapphires. Hareena barely looks others in the eye for very long, mostly because if she does, Hareena catches a glimpse how that person will pass away. She has always possessed these powers, though when she was young she never thought they meant anything. She always saw her parents' death- a terrible car crash that left both of them unrecognizable- however, she didn't expect it to come true. But one day after school, the police arrived at her classroom and informed her of the accident. Hareena was horrified- so much that she went into a shocked state for several days. She was unresponsive and doctors eventually wanted to try anti-depression medication. She had to see a psychiatrist, a charming young man fresh out of college, whom she eventually spilled her visions to. Most would have sent her to an asylum straight away, but this man sent her somewhere else: Mutant High. Hareena has gradually started opening up, though she refuses to look anyone in the eye. She doesn't see her power as a 'mutation'; it isn't like some of the other kids. She will only speak when spoken to and won't say much about her past. RPed by ~HeartShapedLocket~
