Adreif smiled under the ornate mask and rested his head on top of hers.

Monica smiles slightly and closes her eyes," I heard of a peasant uprising to the far South... You're a trveler, have you heard of it?" She asks

Adreif appeared interested. "I hadn't heard about that. What happened? What were the circumstances under which the uprising happened?"

[CrimsonMoon]

" I dunno," she shrugs weakly," My father is shipping out with his company tonight to quell the rebels..." She frowns and closes her eyes," I hope he cleans up this mess... Unscathed,"

Adreif bit his lip, then looked up at the large clock at the top of the wall. "Oh, goodness. I should be going. Monica... goodbye."

Monca blinks and murmurs," But the night is so young..."

Adreif gave a regretful smile, although his insides were churning. "Im sorry. But goodbye," he said and kissed her cheek. He got up and rushed off, losing himself in the crowd. He ripped his mask off when nobody was around in the courtyard and headed towards his villa. He sat down immediately inside and started scribbling on his parchment. When he was done, he found a messenger and told him to bring it to his father- his father was a big helper of local uprisings of the peasants.

Adreif turned to look at her. "Hi. What do you mean I'm lucky?"

" I saw you leaving and just managed to distract a few of Monica's suitors wanting to beat the life from you... It's dangerous flirting with a Capulet!"

He flushed an embarrassed red. "Thanks," he said grudgingly. "But I could have handled it... besides being talented with a sword, I was trained in the art of fist melee."

" Meaning you got in fights with other peasants, yep," She rolls her eyes

His face burned angrily. "But I haven't lost a fight since I was ten. And I've been training in the sword since I was six. I can handle myself."

[CrimsonMoon]

" Against a company, I doubt that," she retorts, crossing her arms over her chest

"Well, why don't you let me try next time!" he raised his voice and walked back in his villa. She reminded him so much of his sister...

" I'm not gonna let you kill yourself you-- you--!" She huffs angrily and whips around, turning away

Adreif stood in his room and glared at the pillow, wondering how the uprising peasants were doing.
