" Shut up and maybe i'll be anle to sleep," she snickers but smiles tiredly at him

The sky turned grey with the promise f dawn and another rainy day, Mars had gotten to her feet before Cecil had awoken and was wading into the fast moving river, cleaning off her wounds and her blood coating...

Cecil groaned and rolled over. He didn't sleep well on the grass- it made his sore back even worse. His eyes fluttered open and he looked around slowly.

Mars had just dunked her head, so deep i the water she almost looked human. She glances back, not seeming to mind yhat she left her human clothing on the bank," Morning," she chirps and smiles

Cecil rubbed one eye as his gaze focused in on her. He blinked and cleared his throat, looking away, "Good morning," he greeted gruffly.

Mars laughs and shakes her head, er black hair spraying droplets," Ou and your human modesty, you hould probably clean up too..." She pauses than smirks playfully, moving her body so a wave of water landed dangerously close to him

"Yes, I know," Cecil grunted, getting to his feet and dusting grass and dirt from his backside. He looked to the river and sighed heavily.

" Stop sighing, I'm not forcing you to do anything," she muses and trots out of the water, wringing her hair out

"I was not sighing at you," He grumbled, pulling his dirty shirt over his head. He approached the water and knelt down, submerging the fabric in it.

" Than you were sighing with me? Any way, you sigh to much," She nods faintly as if agreeing with herself, slipping on her odd tunic

"That's not actually a thing," Cecil muttered, pulling the shirt out and wringing it out. He laid it on the bank to dry, "You can't sigh too much."

" You can sigh enough for it to be anmoying to those around you, unless it's a custom..." She chuckles

He made a face at her, "Sorry for bothering you, princess," he muttered, removing his boots and socks.

" I don't mind, Prince," she smirks slightly, wrapping her belt tightly around her waist

Lastly, he removed his pants and dunked them in the water too. Might as well clean everything. He didn't glance back at her as he waded into the river, splashing the cold water on his arms.
