Cecil pursed his lips, "If you insist.." He approached calmly and climbed onto her back swiftly. It was odd- he was used to horses and horses didn't usually talk back to him.

"I'm Cecil," he muttered, staying on her back easily.

The way he didn't struggle kinda pissed her off but every now and than she trips.... Sometimes on purpose. She looks up when she hears rumbling and frowns

"If you can't carry me, it's not the end of the world," Cecil muttered.

" What am I gonna say?" She snaps back, twisting when a drop of rain lands on her bare shoulder. Mars reaches the river and stops dead as a few corpses float by. She makes a small noise but doesn't say anything clear

"Um..I just have a question," he murmured, "How did the battle go?"

"... Nobody won, If that's what you're asking," she murmurs coldly, starting to wade into the freezing water

"I didn't think so," He sighed, the pounding in his head making him dizzy.

She glances back and mutters," If you can'y stay on, you can put your hands on my waist, I promise that part is human," She began to bounce a bit, feeling the rocks begin to drop beyond her reach

A small snort escaped him as he wrapped his arms around her, "This is odd. I don't think I've ever been this close to a centaur."

" Just realize I will be the first and last centaur to ever give you a ride like this," she mutters, kicking off andeven though she seemed to sink, she still managed to keep them both afloat

"Ah, yes," Cecil closed his eyes, "I'm probably the only person who would ever accept a ride."

" anyone desperate enough would," she manages through a mouthful of water

"Mm, that's debatable. The people really don't seem to like centaurs. At least the ones that I've grown up with."

" Slaves... You humans take us as slaves," she sputterskicking furiously when the current triest to drag her under

Cecil frowned, squinting his eyes against the water, "I was always told that you were monsters."

She glances back at him and shivers,"... We're all monsters to each other. We don't enslave though... We just kill," she spat out some water and coughs

Cecil's brow furrowed. There was a lot more that he needed to consider. He'd let his father's views drive him, so much that he never really developed any of his own.

She manages to find footing and struggles to find it again,"... I'm proud, you're ignorant... And we'll fight to the death about it," she reasons," Because that is the way of intelligent beasts..."
