Blaze spun around and dashed the other way, passing right by RedRaven, laughing freely for what seemed to be the first time in a long time. Star watched from afar, amusement at their antics clouded by her irrational jealousy, and she turned away to Find Buck looking at her curiously.

RedRaven spins swiftly again, kicking at the twilight sky with pure joy, not even bothing to chase after him but just run mear him

Blaze slows when he reaches another small pool of water, and bends down to slake his thirst. Refreshed, he turns back to RedRaven, "I don't even know where to start looking." He admits, despair clouding in on his brief moment of happiness.

" The place you were attacked... Is the cougar atleast dead?" She asks gently before kneeling down to quench her own thirst

He shook his head, "It killed my father and scattered the herd while I was away. I came back to find his body shredded by claws, and half eaten." Blaze shuddered, and turned away, his head hanging low in sadness.

RedRaven tilts her head and presses her muzzle temporarily against his neck," Take Thunderstep to that spot as soo as possible, he may be old but he'd take on a herd of humans... And defeat them all,"

"Could we go now?" He asked, his soulful eyes lighting with excitement at the chance to finally have closure.
