"It's a very romantic sentiment. I see how this definitely made the tour over the top of the eiffel tower."Rivyn grinned at him, her eyes twinkling with a strange sense of wonder.

Diandre rolled his eyes. "You're such a girl," he said.

"I definitely see how this is a bad thing, love. I'm adorable and lovable and I get excited at romantic sentiments. Come on now, stop being such a boy."Rivyn teased.

"Shall we move on to the next stupid romantic site?" Diandre asked.

"Of course."Rivyn grinned, getting the vibe that she'd struck a nerve.

"Alright, then," Diandre said, turning to walk away from the wall. he was glad to get it out of his sight. The words "I love you" still made him sick to his stomach, despite his feelings for Rivyn.

"So what's next?"Rivyn asked, still oddly enthused.

"Pont des Arts," Diandre told her. "You'll see when we get there."

"Well then. Okay."Rivyn used that moment to realize that she'd follow him to the ends of the earth. Damn. That's what love did to you, she guessed.

Diandre didn't say anything as they walked along the streets, past beautiful architecture and tall buildings, past little cafes and bistros.

Rivyn let her thoughts wander, Paris was beautiful. The eiffel tower was close and the streets were swarming with people. It wasn't like she hadn't lived in a big city before. But it was still a lot to take in, seeing so many people, so many beautiful sights all in one place. It was a little overwhelming.

Diandre turned, leading them toward a bridge. Once they were closer, you could see a bunch of padlocks on the mesh railings. "Welcome to Pont des Arts."

Rivyn looked almost shocked, and nodded her head to someone who seemed to be selling locks. She just so happened to have some change on her. "Can we?"

Diandre hesitated, indecision flickering across his eyes. Eventually, he gave in. "Okay," he muttered.

Rivyn ran over and got the lock and came back, a brilliant glowing grin on her face.

Diandre sighed and walked over to the railing, searching for an empty spot to place the lock.

Rivyn looked as well, and eventually she found the perfect spot. "Right there."She pointed.

Diandre opened the lock with the key and then hooked it onto the fence. Then he turned toward Rivyn and held his hand out to her, key held between his thumb and index finger.

Rivyn grinned as she took the key and chunked it over the bridge into the river. She watched it fall with a big smile. "So what's next?"

"I thought you might like to see the Eiffel Tower," Diandre said.
