"My reasons for knowing him do not need to be figured out by you." He gave her a hard look. "He's meant for someone who can age with him. Not be eternally young while he ages."
She turned away from him, her wings shielded him from seeing anything but her back and the back of her head "it's impossible to stop something before its begun. I've learned that from experience" she said
"Good. Why don't you keep it that way then?" Eli's eyes narrowed as he glared at her back. There was no point in not telling her now. "Stay away from my son, Goddess of Night. He doesn't need to be drawn into your wickedly black heart."
Eli growled in frustration as the papers flew off his desk. "Demons damn it, Nyx, calm the f*ck down!" He snarled at her. He stood and began to pick the papers up.
[you should have Zak like walk in or something and Eli be standing up and him totally misconstrued what happened]
She grew saddened and, on her knees, she looked at the ground continuing to pick up papers "why do you try and deprive me of a thing that comes rare to us?" She asked
He got a soft look while staring down at her. He brushed his fingertips in a brotherly way through her hair. "I know. I'm sorry. But... Not with Zak. He's had too many... bad times."
Zak was walking down the hall, heading to his father's office to accuse him about the conversation they had earlier.
She was on the ground, on her hands and knees, her head hung low and her wings slightly extended behind her. She backed away from him her beautiful body accented by the black goddess dress. "Stop doing this to me i hate it" she said louder than she meant to.
"No it hasn't you used to think of me as an actual person but now you just think of me as some evil object when all i want to do is be able to feel love. And your son...." She trailed off looking at the ground and clutching her dress over her heart
Zak stared. All he saw was his girlfriend on her hands and knees in front of his father, and his father's hand in her hair. He clenched his teeth. "Oh, I see how it is. You wouldn't let me be with her because you wanted to be with her. And here I was being fed your bull sh!t lies of how you hated her. Was that to keep me from her?" Blue fire sparked from his palms.
She backed against the wall her wings out stretching to cover the full length of the large room. She bent them behind her again her eyes widening. She didnt know what to do.
Zak glared at the both of them before he turned and stalked back down the hall to his room.
Eli glared at her. "Did you know he was coming here?! Ah, I bet you did. I bet you tracked him down and told him to come here at a certain time. And then did all that sh!t with the wind gust. Get out!" He roared.
"Oh, what now?!" He shouted without stopping or turning around. "You gonna continue to try and play me, huh?! I know the truth now! I get it! You can stop the act!"
