She stumbled closer to him, the feathers on her wings ruffling softly in protest of being handled. All she could do was nod.

"I want a better look at you," He pointed to the wing wrapped around her body, "Move that."

She hesitated, staring at his feet, not moving, however her attention was drawn back to her wing and she slowly drew away her wing, letting it drop to the floor.

Cain tilted his head, his long hair falling over his shoulder, "Turn around."

She did as she was bid, her body trembling.

The demon slid his hands to the base of her wings, his gaze intent.

She whimpered slightly, knees trembling, another tear slid down her face.

"Does this hurt you?" Cain asked, squeezing the base lightly.

She shook her head, 'no.'

"Then what does it feel like?"

"As if you were touching any other part of my body..." she said simply.

He nodded, "So your wings aren't any more sensitive?"

She shook her head again and whispered a soft no.

He moved his hands along the expanse of her wings, "Extend them."

She did so, making them fan out behind her back, looking carefully you could see the the ones closer to the base of her wings were more of a silver color.

"Hmm.." He hummed, touching where the feathers changed color.

The base was darker and it got lighter and lighter as it went up her wings, the tips almost glowing.

"Interesting. I don't usually get this close to angels," He mused.

She clenched her jaw, and thought 'That's because most angels would have been strong enough, and smart enough, to have escaped by now...'

"Oh, is that a dig at yourself?" He chuckled.
