Tᴀɪɴᴛᴇᴅ (Moony)

As Cael walked through the streets of Exeter, he knew he was getting close. He could feel his charge like a string tying them together. He picked up his pace, jogging past rows of houses and into the business sector. Inns and other shops lined the streets. He was growing closer to the Rougemont Castle.

Talia ran as fast as her feet would carry her, finally she'd gotten free from those horrid guards, and she managed to keep all of the things she'd stolen too. She looked to her left and to her right before looking behind her to see them in pursuit. She ran faster, out of breath, but close to drop point so that she could disappear from their sights just like every other time. She reached her destination and dropped down into the hole in a puff of smoke, which cleared her exit.
"Thank God, I've done it again."She breathed a heavy sigh, but it was short lived. They'd found it. Uh oh.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Done what?" came an amused voice from the shadows. Even after running, Cael wasn't out of breath at all. He smirked and stepped forward, his dark hazel eyes flashing as they caught the light. "Hello, Natalia."

"No time to talk. Ask questions later!"She took of sprinting again, down the underground cooridoor. The guards were still coming and they weren't letting up! Damnit she was getting dizzy from lack of breath, she needed to breathe!

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cael heaved a heavy sigh before running after her. Being an angel, he was far faster and caught up easily. Clearly still breathing with ease, he asked, "Why so eager to run away?" he asked. "I'm here to help you."

"If you haven't noticed guards that want to take me to the castle and have me beheaded are chasing us down. Unless you have someway to get me away from here and away from them. Run."She said, keeping up stride, and gasping for air. Until she tripped over her own two feet and fell flat on her face.

"Now, now, there will be none of that," Cael scolded as he easily lifted her back to her feet. "Run, girl!"

She kept running looking for the next opening, she jumped up latching on to the edge and pulled herself up out of the hole with something just shy of acrobatic in movement, before she kept running and didn't stop until she reached home. A little run down orphanage just on the outskirts of the city.

Cael looked around curiously at the odd little place. "Is this where you live?" he asked. "It's a bit... pathetic, to be quite honest."

"Yeah well, I'm an orphan. What do you expect?"She asked, walking into the building. Kids flocked to her and she beamed a grin. "Guess who brought presents!" All of them seemed to get excited, one in particular. "Araylin. This ones special, just for you."She handed the little girl a seperate bag, while dropping the other bag on the floor. "Two items a piece until everyone has picked then split up whats left."She told the eldest one there, a young blonde boy named Nathaniel, who nodded in response. The young red head, moved towards the staircase, beckoning the male the to follow, and, naturally Araylin followed as well, the child followed her everywhere when she was home.

Cael eyed the children warily, as if actually afraid, though he would deny it. "You take care of all these children?" he asked.

"I do. The house mistress hasn't been feeling up to par, and I'm the oldest, it's my duty to take care of them."She smiled, "This little sweetheart here is Araylin, and she's my biological younger sister."

Cael looked down at the child with distaste. Azazel hadn't told him the girl had family. Was he going to have to deal with the little one, too? That thought wasn't appealing.

"So, You seem to know me, but I don't know who you are."She said, a questioning expression coming to her face.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cael swept into an elegant bow. "Cael at your service, m'lady," he said grandly.

"Sounds Scottish."She said, a light smile on her face, as if the accent didn't give him away.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"It is," Cael said in a drawling voice. "I was born in Scotland."

(Was it even called "Scotland" back then?)

"Wonderful. That accent fits you nicely."She said with a smile, "So what brings you here to Exeter?"
