The blue haired boy blinked and looked around before spotting Akai moving towards him. "Oh! Hey Akai! Wazzup? You need something?" He asked and he pulled here out of the crowd and into the open space near the stall he had been looking at

Akai squeezes i next to him and chirps," How long have you known Ruki? I'm just curious because... She seems really... Strange,"

Walter blinked at her and laughed. "It took you this long to figure that out?" He asked with a smirk, but then shrugged. "I've known Ruki for a good amount of time. Why? You here to am about her favorite food or something?" He questioned jokingly

" I'm just wondering about her past... I'm too embarassed to ask her though," she admits quietly, smiling weakly

"Oh. Well ok , shoot. However, some tales and facts are better from the girl herself." He warned. "But go ahead: shoot." He said with a half grin

" Was she always a DJ?" She asks curiously, having to nearly squash up to him

Walter thought for a bit. "As far as I know , yes. She did adventure for quite a bit outside the walls actually, but from what she told me, she came back in and became a DJ right after that." He said with a shrug.

" Huh... And... Did she have a... Girlfriend? Before?" She asks softly

Walter raised an eyebrow at her and grinned. "I think she did. Rukiella rarely talked to me about her, but that's mostly because I didn't ask. Supposedly they met when Ruki was out on one of her adventures. But don't worry, she's single now." He added with a wink

Akai sputters slightly and blushes profusely," O-oh... Ok.." She whispers weakly and bobs her head," Tha-thank you Walter!"

Walter only laughed and shook his head. "No problem. You should ask Ruki for more details though. She doesn't bite much." He promised

" Ok... I'll see you at work tonight!" She squeaks and smiles, heading off toward the security gates that seperated the district... To observe...

There were tons of mechs around the gate walls, and the gate itself had a lot of men there too , guarding it and checking everyone who came in. It seems you needed something to get past the security. Some people were turned down. Each person went through some sort of scanner to. For weapons? Who knew. It definitely was pretty rough security

Akai watches curiously but stiffens as a scanner goes off as a young woman goes through... She was immediately taken by the arms but runes appeared... The mechs shot her on sight as soon as the smoke from the explosions cleared

Akai's eyes widened slightly... It detected goddamn magic...

"Careful, if you stare that intensely the walls might burst into flames." A voice suddenly teased her from behind. Turning would reveal none other than Rukiella smirking down at Akai with a raised eyebrow, her smile once again knowing as she glanced up at the gates. "A real tight lock, huh?"

Akai squeaks and stares at Ruki with wide eyes, debating trying to pursue her real goal or..." what was your girlfriend like?" She asks suddenly

Rukiella's eyes shot wide open in surprise at the girl's blunt question before she laughed. "Straight to the point huh? But where did this question could from?" Rukiella asked with a chuckle, shaking her head. "I'll tell you, but only if you stop loitering near the gate. It's very odd." She said before walking off, motioning for Akai to follow

Akai scrambles after her, mumbling 'sorry' as she follows... Wall Breaker was suprisingly... Obedient

Rukiella only smiled. "Now, where to begin? She was... Well, beautiful, and in that now rare natural way. She was really down to earth, but holy hell was she hard as nails." Rukiella said with a chuckle and a grin, talking almost more the herself now as she remembered, "she actually hated me at first, but we sort of grew on each other. We became lovers when we would keep meeting each other outside the city. She lived pretty far away elsewhere, so we would only meet halfway between our homes for some fun. She always made the struggling worth it." Rukiella mused with a grin before looking at Akai. "She was a bit like you and yet completely different at the same time." She said with a shrug
