" Yes sir," he pauses and waves to the infant who giggles in her mother's arms, he waits quietly, smiling

It took a little bit, but after awhile, a person stops beside him and comments, "I always love looking at little babies, don't you?"

" Yes... I'm just glad this one is safe," he murmurs, looking at the person who spoke, smiling

[Light]

He was tall--nearly seven and a half feet. With dark brown hair and sunglasses, he looked like a normal civilian. Sandals were even on his feet, but underneath his thick head of hair was a communicator. "Sorry about Carter picking on you the way he did, I don't know what he was thinking in doing this, but it doesn't look good." he holds out a hand, "Names Zed,"

Crimson shrugs and shakes Zed's hand," Commander Crimson, sir. It's alright, I caught seven spies, what did he do but continue the oppress them," he smiles ad waves at a toddler playing with a group of children

[Light]

"By the look on his face, he knew what he was doing," He drops the handshake with a nod of his head, "Good job though. Some cactus are going to be planted around the area, so you can relax some." Cactus--AKA flesh-guards. He scratches at his cheek with a sigh, "I remember when mine was like that..."

"... Did you have a kid, sir?" He asks softly

[Light]

"I had two, boy was assassinated at three. Other one was... moved to a safer location," he presses a hand against his ear for a moment before continuing, "It's hard being alone, Crimson. You don't get used to it."

" What's the point of assassinating a child?" He asks softly, looking at the General with a slight frown

[Light]

"They thought they could make me angry, draw me out in the open. And they did," he tilts down his sunglasses, his eye closest to Crimson looking like it had been hit with shrapnel, "People do cruel things in war."

"... I'm sorry sir," frowning, Crimson wrinkles his nose,"... Have we done that to the enemy?"

[Light]

The shades move back up, "Not under my orders. Children are the future of a country, the ones to carry on a legacy, a parents sole reason for living. I don't want to take that away from even my enemy."

He chuckles," they make you sound much scarier in the Academy," Crimson smiles and shrugs," I met this lady with a little girl named Isabel, wanna meet her?"

[Light]

"I can make people wish they were wearing their brown pants," he insists before nodding his head, "Yes, I really would like to meet them."

[CrimsonMoon]

He smiles and murmurs," Come on, sir-" he walks toward the group of children, kneeling before one of the little girls, speaking to her. The child pops a thumb in her mouth, poiting toward the young woman who was rocking the infant.

He smiles and walks over to the young woman," Hello Julia, I want you to meet General Zed..."

Julia looks up, pushing her aqua blue hair behind her ear and blinkin in suprise at the tall man," Ge-general! I-I'm so sorry-"

He presses a finger to his lip while smiling, "I'm here unofficially, as Zed, to meet your little girl." He kneels down slowly, his long legs folding as he sits, "--and she is just precious,"

Julia smiles nervously and shuffles forward," Isabel, look," she cooes softly, the infant reaches up toward the General, cooing

He places one of his fingers in the small child's grasp, "Hello," he smiles, leaning forward, "It's nice to meet you, little Isabel,"

Julia smiles and whispers," She loves you..." The infant cooes and gurgles happily

Crimson watches, crossing his arms with a smile

[Light]

Zed lightly kisses her small hand, "and I love her as well," his voice was strong, and it made people believe. He loved every child here, and though it be odd to say, every soldier as well. "We'll take good care of you all, won't we Crimson?"
