He heads up the stairs and pushes one of the doors lining the narrow hall open. "This is yours..." he points down, where the hall turned left and went further back. "Your bathroom is connected to your room. My rooms down that way, to the left, so if you need anything, just go on in." he steps to the side out of the doors path.

Sake looked supremely pleased and entered the room, putting down the suitcase. "Thank you, Masaki," she said happily. "I appreciate it!"

[Light]

"Mhm," he waves slightly before walking down the hall, rubbing the towel back and forth on his neck, "I'm gonna start dinner then,"

"Can I help?" she asked hopefully.

[Light]

"Sure," he calls back to her, "If you want to,"

[~echo~]

Sake smiled. "I'll be there in a minute," she said. She quickly unpacked her things and then headed down to the kitchen. "What are you making?"

[Light]

Masaki had started shuffling around, pulling things out of the fridge, "I was thinking lasagna," he hums while kneeling down to open one of the bottom drawers.

"Ooh, I love lasagna!" she said happily. "Do we have the noodles and stuff?"

[Light]

"Yeah, they're in..." he points to the closet door, "there, noodles on the middle shelf to the left. Might be behind something,"

[~echo~]

Sake skipped over to the pantry door and searched for the long, thin noodles. "Here they are!" she chirped, grabbing them and walking out into the kitchen again.

[Light]

"Thank you," he turns the sink on, a pot underneath it to catch water. "Can you cut up the onions?"

[~echo~]

Sake nodded happily and paused. "Where are the knives?"

[Light]

He turns off the sink and carries the pot to the stove. He twists around and pulls open a drawer near her, "Pick whichever is better, they haven't been sharpened in awhile,"

She chose a large knife and started chopping up the onion. "Thanks," he said.

[Light]

He takes small balls of dough out of the box he removed from the refrigerator, and drops them into the warming water. "Mom might yell at me if she finds out I let ou help make your welcome home dinner,"

Sake grinned as she finished the onions and laughed. "I don't mind. Cooking is one o my favorite pastimes."

[Light]

"Ara," he rolls off his tongue, "That's good, because the best thing I can make... is a boiled egg."

[~echo~]

(So where exactly is this set?)

"I like making food of every sort!"

[Light]

(Kinda like... a futuristic New York I guess~)

"I just like reading the recipes," he offhandedly replies, looking for a pan to start layering the dish. "So, we'll be going to the same school. Which course did you sign up for? Mechanic, or caster?"

She smiled and nodded. "I signed up for caster but only because I don't know what my aptitude would be."
