After several long moments, Nikolas cautiously wandered down the hall. He stopped once he saw what was going on, an eyebrow raising. "Uh."

"Yes, Nicky~" His brother cooed. "Come help me tickle Alexsander to death~"

The teen's eyebrow raised higher, but at least he looked amused now that he understood what was going on. "Uh."

"I can't complete it all by myself~"

"If you kill him now, who are you going to torture later?"

"...Good point." Alexander huffed and hopped off his parabatai. He pointed down at him with a stern expression, though his eyes still danced. "I will return to collect my giggles later!" Before prancing off.

Nikolas scratched the back of his head. "Kinda glad he didn't pick me as next tribute."

Alex slumped against the floor, curling up into a fetal position, "So much tickling.."

Nikolas hesitantly approached the male, steps quieted and sliding against the marble flooring. His hands were crossed behind his back. Tilting his head while looming over him, he blinked. Without another word, he gave a soft hum before flopping all of his weight on top of the other male, looking like the boneless horizontal line that made up a plus sign. "Hi." He grunted, chin on Alex's elbow.

Alex peeked up at him, looking mildly surprised, "Hello there."

"Guess what?" He grunted. "So I really like this one person, I've actually liked them for a while now.. but I'm thinking it's unrequited, and after five years I'm starting to think I should just give up on it." He frowned. "Nikita says that it'll all work out, but she's said that for five years now and I'm sorry to say it, but it hasn't come true, it hasn't even hinted at coming tru-" He yawned. "Sorry."

"You've gotta give me a little more detail than that, Nicky," Alex looped his arm around the boy's waist, keeping them snuggled together, "Who is this person? Have you told them?"

The brunette squirmed guiltily, hanging his head. "Well... no." He murmured. "But I know what's gonna happen."

Alex pecked his nose lightly, rolling his light eyes, "Nicky, you can't expect anything to happen if you don't do anything."

He pouted, curling into a ball. "But it's gonna end badly." He whispers. "Haven't you seen the movies? The crush always ends up breaking the bad news, and then the crushed just.." He trailed off. "I'm scared."

Alex kissed the top of his head, "This is a part of life, Nicky. It can be a bit scary, but you have to go through with it."

"But why?" He frowned at him. "I know what's gonna happen. Why?"

"How could you know what will happen?" Alexsander snorted, "Are you psychic?"

"Well, no." He whined and flailed on him. "But I just- I know."

Alexsander cupped Nikolas' cheeks, forcing the boy to look at him, "I think that if you take the chance, you might just like what happens." He smiled softly.

He sighed heavily, gaze flicking away from his face. "Ihaveacrushonyou." He rushed before shifting away from him.

"Nah-ah-ah," Alex caught him and pulled him back, nuzzling his face into Nikolas' hair, "I didn't quite catch that. What did you say?"

Nikolas made a garbled sound like he was being strangled and ducked his head, hands clenching into his shirt only a bit. "I... have a crush on you." He whispered, tension in his neck and shoulders keeping his stance stiff as stone.

Alex smiled and gently kissed the back of Nikolas' neck, "That's what I thought you said."

He yelped and glowered at him witha blush. "You! You heard and you- oh!" His eyes narrowed and he whacked him on the chest. With his as-strong-as-a-toothpick hand. That backfired quickly. What you shouldn't do when confronting your crush: Unintentionally feel up their chest.

"What? I wanted to hear you say it again," Alex leaned in so their foreheads touched, "It's a nice thing to hear. Besides, you look adorable when you blush like that."
