Space, the final frontier. For ages mankind has dreamed of what awaits them in its vast depths.
Meliodas starts out in a slow trot down the street from where he had been running from, his bag hanging from his other hand. "Today isn't a real good day to go exploring anyways,"
"Very, yeah," he slows down and reaches a snugly squeezed-in building, the towering apartments grey and dull as the concrete that lined the streets. "Up here," he says before letting go of his hand to run up the stairs.
Meliodas pulls a key out from a small zipper pocket on his backpack and jabs it into the keyhole to the door, unlocking it. He pushes it open then, steps inside as thunder starts rumbling in the sky. "Come on, come on," he chants happily.
Melioda shook his hair out like a dog and stuffed the key back in his pocket, "Yeah, mom said that I would need one in case... in case of e-mer-gen-cies," he drags out, letting the large word tumble off of his tongue.
"This way," he shoves off his shoes, and toes at the wet socks, kicking one off after the other. "Books are in my room, ya know?" he says while looking back at Betram, noticing how he was cold.
Meliodas casts a look back at Betram and pushes open a bedroom door as he approaches it, "Why don't we clean up first then, before my mom gets back." he suggests, "I got some stuff ya can borrow, ya know, since you ain't carrying anything on you."
