Aron shifted, his lips brushing the back of her neck as he snuggled closer, if that was even possible.

Valerie felt the intense need to escape, and yet she wanted to stay, it seemed there wouldn't be any other place to go, and she was so comfortable. She sighed loudly. What was happening to her? What was happening with them?

Aron stirred when she sighed, his eyes flickering open, though still lidded with sleep. "Mmm. What's wrong?" he murmured.

"I forgot I was here." Valerie mumbled.

"Do you still want to be here?" he asked, his fingers running over her neck.

Valerie shivered at his touch. "Definitely."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Aron's lips replaced his fingers, but he pulled away after a second and took a deep breath. Her lips, her skin, her face. He wanted to touch her, kiss her, get to know her body intimately. His chest ached he wanted it so bad. "Kiss me?" he whispered.

Valerie moved onto her back and looked over at Aron. She reached out and ran her fingers trough his hair then cupped his cheek and guided his face down to hers. "Yes." She mumbled against his lips then kissed him.

Aron returned the kiss, keeping it gentle. He kept his hands where they were, not roaming her body like he wanted to. His fingers did curl, digging into her skin, but nothing else.

Valerie broke away panting. "How's your self control doing?"

"Mmm, it's okay," Aron whispered before pulling her back to him.

Valerie grinned into the kiss, clearly he was a little more clear headed than last night. Valerie, on the other hand was loosing herself, she tried to form thoughts and couldn't, and after a moment, she gave up.

"You're beautiful," Aron murmured against her lips. "And amazing. And I don't deserve you one bit."

Valerie smiled against his kiss. "Sure you do." She mumbled.

"I'm a manhoe, remember?" Aron said, pulling back and opening his eyes. "I definitely don't deserve someone like you."

"And I've lived most of my life as a dog. I don't deserve a person."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Aron gave her a crooked smile in the darkness. "Good thing you didn't get a person, then."

Valerie giggled and wiggled closer to him. "Nope, I think I got a demigod, definitely not worthy."

Aron laughed. "A demigod? Hell no. Just a lowly werewolf."

"Same thing to a lowly half-dog." She grinned. "You're ruining the mood, shut up." And to make sure he did, she pulled him down into the kiss again, wrapping her arms around his torso.
