W.a.t.c.h. the WORLD from the g.r.o.u.n.d. (Cryssy)

Marko poked his head around the corner to see the cops approaching the door of the tattoo parlor. Unfortunately, this alley was a dead end. There was only one way out, and it was unlikely they'd make it by the cops without being seen.

She followed him, she didnt know this place, she had no idea how to get out

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Back," Marko whispered. "To the back of the alley. Find somewhere to hide."

She nodded and ran to hide beneath a dumpster, being able to wedge herself beneath it.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko stepped to the far side and crouched down, hidden by the dumpster's bulk. If the cops looked down the alley, all they'd see was an ordinary alley.

She looked out from the cramped space of the dumpster and saw feet, cops shoes, but as soon as one turned down the alley theother just pulled him back

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko didn't even realize he was holding his breath. He had his back pressed against the alley wall, his eyes closed.

She knew, she could feel her lungs straining to keep the breath in. Once the cops had left she crawled out and let that breath go, looking up at him

Marko opened his eyes. When he saw her looking at him, he grinned out of relief. "Well, that was exciting," he said nonchalantly.

She chuckled lightly "we should get out of here"

Marko nodded. "Good idea," he said. He tiptoed toward the mouth of the alley. The sirens and flashing lights were gone, but he wanted to make sure. When he peered around the corner, the street was empty of cops.

There were cars,but they were empty

Marko waved her over, signaling that the coast was clear. He stepped out of the alley and started down the street. He never had a boring day, did he?

She walked next to him, was she ever going to have a day were she was able to go around without having to worry about going back to that wretched laboratory.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko shot her a grin. "Welcome to gang life," he said with a chuckle.

She chuckled "if this is gang life ive only been missing the tattoo"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko laughed and slapped her on the back. "That's the spirit," he said.

She chuckled and went forward just a bit but regained herself.

"So, what now?" Marko asked her.

She shrugged "what do you normally do on days like this?" She asked
