Eren slipped the pocketknife from his pants to the part of his sleeves so it was concealed. His brown hair was spiked up in its usual way, no tendrils falling in his face. He leaned back against the alley wall, his large arms folded over his chest, head tilted back. 

It was early evening, just as the sun was setting. He was out patrolling Golden Fist territory, as he often did. They were still a new gang and not always taken seriously by the other gangs in the area. Eren was there to make sure no one knew to mess with them.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adria stood on the 'line' that separated the Easts' territory and the area that the Golden Fists had recently taken over. Her eyes were narrowed, her lips pursed. Someone had to teach these upstarts a lesson. They were strong, though, stronger than anyone had expected them to go. And they were getting more confident.

Eren's dark gaze flicked up and he zeroed in on Adria, his head tilting just slightly in curiosity.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

The young woman's East Side tattoo was clearly visible on her arm. Her eyes found Eren and she paused. He looked like a gangster if she'd ever seen one, and she'd met a lot of them... being one herself. Probably a Golden Fist, because she'd never seen him before.

His lips quirked into a smirk and he waved at her with just his fingers. Leaning forward, he pushed off the wall, standing at his full height- which was pretty big.

Adria had been about to walk away, but that little wave struck something inside her. He was so... cocky. And she couldn't resist the chance to knock someone down a notch. So she stepped over the dividing line and strode up to him. She gave him a sweet smile. "Hey, there."

"Hello," His voice was surprisingly soft for someone his size, "What's your name?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

She wasn't sure if she should really tell him, but figured it couldn't do too much harm. "Adria. And yours?"

"Eren," He smirked and glanced her up and down, "Nice tattoo."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adria smiled, almost seductively. "You like it? Got any of your own?"

Eren smiled and shrugged one shoulder, "Maybe, there's one huge one on my neck if you can't really tell."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Actually, Adria hadn't noticed. The way his head was turned and the way the light hit him had hidden it--if not from her sight--from her notice. "You're in the Golden Fists," she stated flatly.

"Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner," Eren smirked, "Very nice observation."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adria glared at him, clearly not amused. "Well, aren't you the witty one."

"Well, I try sometimes," Eren shrugged, "Keeps people entertained."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Adria huffed. She seriously considered pulling out her gun and shooting him right there, just for insulting her, but that would draw attention. Besides, they were technically on the Golden Fists' turf, and she didn't want to escalate the war yet. Not without permission from her leader.

"Hey, it was just a joke," Eren chuckled, raising one hand on half-hearted defense.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Eren..." Adria said thoughtfully. "You're not just some gang member; you're the second in command. I knew I recognized your name." And so the seconds would meet. Interesting the way things worked.

"That's me," He didn't sound all that enthusiastic, "And from what I know, you're pretty high up in the East Sides, aren't you?"

She gave a faint smile. "Something like that," she said. "I guess that means we should try to kill each other now," she continued casually.
