Carter ignored her taunting. The slap was more for his sake than hers; his anger had to go somewhere. "If you won't talk, then you'll stay here until you do. No food, no water. We'll see how tough you are after that." He turned to one of the other wolves in the room. "Prepare for a battle. I have no doubt the Shadowhunters won't take long to figure out we're holding one of their own."

Adara chuckled and sat back in the chair. His words didn't phase her. A smile was curling her lips gently. "I hope they kill you." Was all she said in response.

"I'll take you out with me," he growled. He waved for a packmate to take her away. She, a female this time, led her back to the closet and pushed her inside. Unlike Adriel, she shut the door without offering any condolences.

Adara let herself be pulled and than pushed into the closet. She sat down on the floor, crossed her legs, and closed her eyes, content to wait, and perhaps get some sleep.

Carter went to the lobby, what used to be a dining area, and sat down in one of the once plush but now ratty arm chairs. He sat with his eyes narrowed, a look of concentration mixed with anger on his face. How had the Shadowhunters found out about Caleb? That was something he hadn't even told his own pack.
