Her shaking was getting worse and she wondered how much longer she could take being without the fix.

"Can't say I know the answer to that." Richard considered if he'd ever seen Caden with anyone. "Never seen her with anyone in that way--not really the friendly sort. Spends most of the time here working or at the gym." He explained. "I'd be careful around her. Being around Caden tends to be more trouble than she's worth. Last guy that tried anything ended up being a scapegoat...Doing ten for manslaughter." He didn't explain more than that.

Richard said his goodbye and tossed the phone away, as he turned to watch Caden for a moment.

Caden was sitting on the couch, her feet propped on the table. She snatched the remote from one of the newer members and changed the channel back to MMA fighting. It would seem her mood had improved since earlier. After the match ended, she stood and left the clubhouse. He wondered briefly where she was going. She usually stayed longer.

She sat her gear just outside the ring and watched the two men in the ring finish sparring.

One of the guys knocked the other to the mat, and lifted his hands victoriously when the other guy didn't get up. After pulling off his gloves, he offered his hand to help his opponent up, then turned around, exposing his face to Caden. It was Julius.
