Valgar felt his breath partially knocked out but he stayed steadily in the saddle by dodging somewhat to the side.

Having earned several points for managing to stay steady in his saddle, Valfar was already at the lead, only two more passes until her could be considered victorious. The Targaryen knight had to have the help of his squires in order to be righted once more

" Sir, perhaps you would like to gain the favor of a lady before you rode once more? It would gain you some favor with another family," his squire suggested lightly as he examined the dent in Valfar's armor

Valgar looked down at the squire, barely feeling the dent pressing uncomfortably up against his chest. "Get me another lance. And who do you suppose would give me their favor? I'm surrounded by my enemies."

" A young woman of the rivals, mi'lord, a man would not be appreciated as much," he answers with a sly smile as he moves to pick up another lance," The Lannister girl may be wisest, or the Baratheon Princess," he motions to the two young women sitting with the other nobles.

The Baratheon Princess, Indigo, was about 18 years of age. Her long mouse brown hair tied back in an attractive bun, a cornet resting upon her brow. She spoke quietly to several nobles at once but seemed focused on them rather then the match.

On the other hand, Ariella seemed conpletely enthralled and swiped away any attempt of someone trying to make conversation with her... After all- she was the ultimate prize

(You basically stroll up and ask xD not even jokin', they usually ride up near the lady and ask for her favor. But he gotta be careful because being rejected is embarassing x3)

Valgar didn't pick up his lance and trotted his horse closer to the stands of spectators. He looked first to the Baratheon princess. "My lady, I ask only for your favor. Would you do me the honor of bestowing this gift upon me?"

Princess Indigo looks up in surprise, a small smile quirking her lips. She gives him a curious look," King Valfar~-" she begins smoothly, pausing as if enjoying just baiting him," I gave my favor to another already but i'm sure if you asked some other young women, they would be more willing." She turns back to the nobles, giving Valfar a sympathetic look.

Ariella watched and sighed faintly...

ValGar glared at the girl and moved on to Ariella. "I'm sure you, Lannister, have already given your favor."

Ariella shook her head and sighs faintly," No, not yet," she stares at him for a long time and smiles," But I suppose I can give you something, i hope you don't mind Lions?"

"Are you offering me your favor, mlady?" He smiled slyly.

" Weren't you asking?" Ariella chuckles, tilting her head, her eyes glittering with a surprisingly friendly light. She leans slight toward him, as if excited

He laughed a little. "I was merely finding out if you had already pledged yours. But I will accept your offer, if you are agreeing."

" I'm agreeing," she grins and quietly reaches around her neck. Her golden choker glittering in the sunlight. But as the peice of jewelry was literally welded to her neck- she leans forward," Can you lean forward? I can't quite reach your neck, King Greyjoy,"

Valgar felt a flicker of suspicion and he gazed at her. "I can put it in my pocket. I'd rather keep it there so it doesn't spoil. Just hand it to me."

" No, lean forward," she held out a golden sash, lions embroidered into the pale gold silk," I'm pretty sure I cannot kill with this simple sash-" Ariella smiles gently, her blue eyes softening further

Valgar shook his head and held out his hand. "No. I don't want it on my neck in case it gets soiled. Here," he held out his wrist, "put it here."
