"Come on, Nikolai," Avi said, actually sounding a little irritated. "Stop it." She'd never really thought about the fact that he didn't go on dates. What if he wasn't just a gentleman? Maybe he was just awkward in this situation.

"Fine. Avi." Nikolai growled. He grabbed her face in his hands and kissed her passionately. He did not ease his way into the kiss, his tongue did not ask for permission, it forced its way passed her lips. One hand snaked through her hair to press against the base of her skull, the other wrapped forcefully around her waist and held her tight.

Maybe she had asked for it, but he still took her by surprise. She'd expected him to start gentle, but it all just broke loose like spontaneous combustion. And, man, was it hot. She slid her arms around him, her fingers digging into his shoulder blades. She hadn't been kissed like this in a long time... No, scratch that, she'd never been kissed like this.

With a deep rumble in the back of his throat, Nikolai pushed Avi back. "There." He snarled. He felt his cool composure collapsing, a fragile cabin in the middle of a wild earth quake. The part of him he kept locked away was raising its head and shaking dust from its body.

Avi wasn't about to be deterred. He kissed her like that and expected her to just back off? Her heart was pounding and her blood was full of adrenaline. She caught his wrists and pulled herself back to him, pressing her lips against his again. She could sense the fierceness rising in him, but she wasn't scared.

Nikolai shoved her away again, this time harder, with a flick of his wrist so smooth it hardly went noticed, he locked the bolt to the door and strode her way. He grabbed her wrist roughly and pulled her behind him then threw her through the bedroom door ahead of him. "This? Is this what you want?" He rumbled darkly.

Avi didn't quite seem to grasp the direness of the situation. Her eyes were a bit wide, but that adrenaline was still rushing and she watched him with almost hungry eyes. She didn't answer his question.

Nikolai swooped forward, catching her face in his hands and kissed her fiercely again. "Tell me to stop, Avi, I will if you want." He hissed between his aggressive attacks of her mouth.

Avi stayed silent. She kissed him back, but honestly it was kind of hard to keep up with him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close. She didn't want him to stop. Ever.

Nikolai took a giant step back from her, his eyes closed, his chest heaving. He let out a hissing sigh then his eyes flew open. "This is why I've been so careful with you. I have no self control."

"You don't have to right now, Nik," she said. "That's the point." She took a small step toward him. "Just let go."

Nikolai's eyes flashed dangerously at her. "Tell me something, Avi. Have you ever been with a man before?"

That caused Avi to pause, since she didn't want to answer. "Well... no," she said. "Not exactly."

Some of Nikolai's fire was replaced by curiosity. "What does that mean?" He didn't sound as violent but his voice was still rough.

"Well... you know, I've never exactly... gone all the way," Avi said. Now who was awkward? She didn't want to stand here talking about this.

"Never exactly?" Nikolai raised both eyebrows, some snarkiness returning to his voice. "Avi you either have or have not, there is no in between."

Avi rolled her eyes. "Does this matter, Nikolai?" she asked. "Do I have to spell it out for you? No, I've never had sex with a guy involving his dick inside me."

Nikolai didn't startled but his mind tripped and fell over her words. Well then. "It's important, Avi, because I can't be this aggressive creature with you on your first time, not initially. It matters because I want it to count for something."

Avi squeezed her eyes shut for a moment. "I said no," she replied weakly. "So, yeah, fine. Treat me like some fragile child because that's what I am to you, isn't it?"
