He removed the dress and placed it on the bed. He couldn't help but look at her in her slip before helping her take it off. He refused to look at her then, keeping his eyes strictly on the floor as he put away her slip and dress and found her nightgown. He could hardly believe himself as he hesitated before helping her into the night gown. He was definitely going to kill Kalleb.

Cassius woke with the sun, per usual, and dressed in his most casual clothing, servants clothes weren't practical for fighting. He did this all straight faced? He wouldn't allow himself to admit he was somewhat excited about today.

He could hear Lady Averyl approaching but he did not turn. He wondered where she'd stand, how she'd look, what tone of voice she spoke in.
