Phillip thought that Dawn might actually physically harm him. She looked like she really wanted to but then a sudden look crossed her eyes, he couldn't tell if it was fear or something else, but she turned and left, like a dog with its tail between its legs. He released the breath he hadn't know he'd been holding.
