Olin oohed and aahed over the land, bouncing in his little black boots, "When will we land, Papa?"

" Not soon enlugh, evidently," he teases the small boy, wrapping his arms around Olin and allowing the boy to sit on the railing of the ship, with his arms securely around him of course

Olin giggled and held his arms out, "What is that land called?"

" That us known as Essos, home to the distant free cities," He answers softly," It's beautiful, dangerous, wild beyond words..."

"Are we going to live there, Papa?" Olin asked, looking up at him.

" For a long while, yes," He confirms, gently resting his huge hand on the tiny boy's head

"I'm excited," He told him, kicking his feet.

"Now now! No falling or else you'll arrive as sodden as a drowned rat!" He replies calmly and scoops up the boy," Hurry now below decks, get prepared for docking,"

TIME . SKIP

Olin was the first to touch land when they docked. The boy flew down the wooden plank with an excited giggle, his wooden sword clutched in his hand.

A strong arm suddenly wraps around the boy's torso and quickly pulls him away from the huge amount of people walking along the dock, it was one of the sailors who had been on the ship. A gruff old man with a weather-beaten visage," careful, kid, wouldn't want to lose ye as soon as we got here, eh? Stay close to me son, until your father comes," he allowed the little bly to leave but hefted up an enormous crate

Olin swung his sword at the sailor's backside, "I won't get lost! Princes don't get lost!"

" All little boys get lost without men near 'em," the Sailor retorts and playfully kicks at the little boy," Now if you think you're man enough, pick up that crate there and help me out, eh? Ya urchin-" he chortles

Olin hurried to the crate and threw his sword onto it. He wrapped his little arms around it and tried to heft it up.

The sailor laughed at his effort, easily tossing a similiar crate onto a stack almost carelessly," It's alrght boy, do this every day and you'll be slinging these around like a champion," he snickers

"I can do it!" Olin insisted, his little hands trying to find purchase on the big crate.

Eventually, after watching him for a long while, the Sailor moves over and gently shows the little boy where to place his hands," Got it?" He asks cautiously
