She narrowed her eyes. "It's not as though it matters, anyhow. But one hundred is all I'm willing to take, and we both know that you can turn that around for bigger profit."
He stroked his chin, eyeing her slowly. It was true...many buyers could be tricked into owning it for a much greater price. "Sold," he finally said, almost grudgingly, as he pulled out a hundred coins and laid them on the table. "Count them yourself, I may be part of the black market, but I know how not to p*ss off people."
She grinned happily, having mastered negotiating many years ago. She was smart. She picked up her coins. "Pleasure doing business with you," she quipped, leading the way backup stairs.
Bo scrambled after her, having drifted off into space and not noticing until now that she had left. He muttered in what sounded like a 'goodbye,' before he left. "Er...so now what?" He asked, easily matching his strides with hers.
He gave a shrug and a wink. "You should know, Lanna, I'm used to you dragging me around. But yes, a celebration is indeed in order!" Bo tapped the side of his nose with his finger, before continuing, "I know a couple taverns close by with lots of music, we could go there, if you want."
"Perfect! It's down this way," he said, gesturing her to follow him. He wound his way around the crowd, almost dancing, as he side stepped pedestrians and consumers. "So, tell me, how's life here been treating you?" He asked her, glancing over his shoulder.
"You gotta do what you gotta do!" He cheerily called over his shoulder. At her question, he gave her a small shrug. "Eh...same as always. We've made a good profit this gear, though what with Cyrinth giving birth soon, there's sure to be shortage. Can't complain though."
"Oh yeah, that caused quite the stir," he laughed good naturedly. "But as am I...it's weird; Landon and I were the only bachelors on the caravan, though it looks like it's just me now." The smile turned wistful.
He winced and rubbed his shoulder. "Ow...I forgot you had a good punch on you," he said weakly. Though Bo quickly recovered and gave a small nod. "Sure, I guess. Just need to wait for that perfect girl, huh?"
"Isn't it?" He said with a grin. It was a small, though bright place. It was furnished with bright and warm colored fabric draped over the windows. Music played, as dancers swayed in the middle, donned in the same warm colors.
"Hmm?" Bo blinked back into the present, having been staring at the dancers and the tavern with a distant smile. He shook himself to clear his thoughts and flashed her a smile. "I'm fine with anything, get anything you want; last show gave us a really large profit." As he spoke, a beautiful girl walked up to them, as twirling with the music, her cheeks flushed with the energy of the place and a large smile on her face.
"Table for two?" She asked, her voice sounding like a tinkling bell. With a nod from Bo, she gestured for them to follow her, leading them to a table near the dancers.
