Twenty minutes later, the stew and the bread was done. She dished out the stew in two bowls and brought the pan of bread and butter. "Soup's on!"

He took a whiff of the smell, his mouth already watering. "It smells delicious!" He said, letting out a sigh. "I forgot how good of a cook you were, Lana."

She smiled. "Well, I never got to exercise my talent. Remember? Sven never let me cook because he thought I would burn the caravan down.

He let out a warm laugh. "Indeed, I remember that. Ah, what an old man he was," he said, smiling in memories.

She smiled. "Sven, Sven, Sven," she murmured and looked at him.

He flashed her a small smile, blinking back to the present. "His cooking was horrid, I always wished that you could cook so that I wouldn't be sick..."

She laughed. "Remember the time he made that bread? It was burned through and through?"

He made a face. "Ech, don't remind me! Poor Silvia looked like she would be sick for hours!

"And then we threw it around for a while," she chuckled. "Those were good times."

He let out a jolly laugh. "Ah, yes. It was amazing as a ball," he chuckled.

"But enough about that," she chided. "Eat up! It's getting cold!"

"Yes ma'am," he replied, looking eager to comply. He spooned a bit of the soup, before taking a small taste of it. His eyes widened as he sat up straight. "Gods, this is amazing!" He exclaimed, taking another sip of it.

She blushed. "You really think so?"

He waved his spoon in the air, swallowing the bit of soup. "Of course! Do you really think I would lie about something as important as food?"

She laughed and ate a piece of bread.

"I'm serious Lana, food is very important," he said, rolling his eyes at her, as he shot her a smirk.

"I know," she said with a grin.

[pipintan]

"Good, glad you agree with me. It makes this relationship easier."

[~echo~]

She chuckled. "Do you remember that one time that Sven accidentally left Gertrude behind? She was spitting mad."

[pipintan]

"It served her right," he said between a mouthful of bread. "At least, that's what he said had been accidental. She had played a nasty trick on him; though leaving her was a bit extensive..." He was quiet for a minute, before chuckling. "I guess everything he did was never accidental."
