Milo said goodbye to one of his regular 'bloodbags,' as he liked to call them. Killing was against Protector laws, but feeding on humans wasn't. As long as you didn't expose the Secret World to the humans, you were good. So he made a habit of either only drinking off two or three humans, or wiping the minds of any others. She walked off, a bit unsteady on her feet, leaving the private room of the club behind her. Milo took a bit to wash up, cleaning the blood off his skin before following her out.

Milo froze when he spotted her. Well, back here again was she? He couldn't explain it. Strange though she was, there was something about her that drew him in. He slowly made his way toward her, not looking at her, acting as if he hadn't actually seen her yet.
