"Glad we understand the food chain," he hums throatily as he lightly picks at his nails.

Koi glances at his his back, watching him for a bit before humming," Chrys... Do you like living alone?"

Chrys wriggles his nose and reaching up scratching at the side of his chin, "I don't hate it, I don't care either way to be honest."

She turns over so she can look at him, her legs having formed into a sleek tail," Not a people person?" She teases softly

"People aren't a dragon person," he corrects, nodding his head.

" I'm a fish person, and i'm ok with dragon people..." She hums

"Then I don't mind you staying." He lifts his hand and spreads his fingers. Black scales form on his hand and quickly disappear.

She reaches out and suddenly takes his hand," Do that again," she suddenly says, her eyes lighting up as she huddles next to him, her tail poking out from beneath the warm cloak, the white, red and black scales glittering faitly in the dim light of te dark water

"Hm?" He blinks at her questioningly. His eyes dart back over to his hand and he turns it over, the scales returning. "That?"

She nods and smiles, her tail resting over his legs as she puts his hand over the smooth scales, so they seemed to mix," See? Not that different," Koi chirps

He grins a bit nodding, "Except yours look prettier." He hums, rolling his fingers.

She shifts and her tail curls around him as she hugs him to stay sitting up, looking down at his hand," But black is pretty too.." Koi's green eyes flicker to him and she tilts her head," Cuz its all the colors in there darkest form.." She hums and smiles

"That's up for argument," he slides his hand back under his jacket slowly, the scales receding as his concentration breaks, "they're just good for night flying."

" Thats also cool!" She pokes his nose, her tail swishing from side to side

"Yours is cooler," he protests, "it's a fishy tail,"

" But you're a DRAGON," she retorts, having to hug him slightly more to keep from falling on her back, her tailcurling around him
