Koi holds on tightly, burying her face into his scales, feeling her tears stop

[Light]

The dragon continues to rise up into the air, and after a moment the beating of his wings stop and he glides. The scales on his back ripple as he breathes out and flies through a circle of smoke.

She hugs his neck tightly, shivering and coughing

[Light]

He turns his head to the side, his eye focusing on her as he veers to the side to make a slow descent.

[CrimsonMoon]

She lifts her face to him and forces a smile, her nose pink withcold

[Light]

He turns his head away after looking at her, a small huff leaving him. He folds his wings agains his side and starts to shoot downwards towards the forest below, the tree tops only visible once they pass back through the layer of clouds.

She hides her face again and hugs him tighter

[Light]

The dragon maneuvers through the trees and lands on the ground, his large black feet sinking into the soft forest dirt.

Koi blinks, her hands curling tighter around him, afraid to let go as if as soon as she did, she'd be back in imprisonment

[Light]

The tip of his tail thumps against her back lightly, and he jerks hhis head to a small log house, the building had no windows, only a shabby door and mud between the cracks to keep the heat in and the cold air out.

She flinches and slides off his back, her simple dress rustling as she lands on the forest floor. Glancing back at him, her scales near her eyes glittering briefly

[Light]

He takes a step back, a snort leaving him again as he stares at her like 'well-you-just-gonna-stand-there-and-freeze?'

Koi glances bak at him than shakily obeys

[Light]

He bounds forward like a rabbit through the snow, and pushes the door open with his nose before squeezing in like a big dog.

[CrimsonMoon]

Koi follows his tail and squeezes kn after him

[Light]

He disappears into a room connected to the main one that held a fireplace in the middle of the room, a pot hung over it. An array of furs covered the floor and walls, and it felt /warm/. He reappears, this time in his human form. "Sit anywhere."

Koi blinks and sits down as close to the fire as she dared

[Light]

He moves beside it and puts his feet into the flames, the skin reacting to it like it was just water, "Your name."

[CrimsonMoon]

".... Koi..." She whispers, trying to ignore the strange reaction

[Light]

"Chrysanthemum." He replies, leaning back onto his hands, "Or any other human name you would like to call me."
