The man nods and they slow the caravan down even more and quiet down. A few draw their weapons, and the kids hide in the wagon with the jewels. The monsters were like before--ogres.

They most likely hadnt been made with water... The snow explodes around them and freezes the ogres skin... Sapping their body heat quickly

[Light]

The caravan shivers and waits for her to return... there were no more of them in the area.

Koi wills the ice to crumble, literally shattering the ogres' bodies before retuning to the caravan and grinning," S'ok now.."

[Light]

The kids jump out of the wagon and run over to her smiling, "Thanks big sister!" The oxen pick back up their cautious pace from before they had halted, the groups activities continuing with a new sense of awareness. There could be more later on down the mountain side.

Koi smiles and ruffles their hair," Of course, i might disappear sometimes though, when i sense danger ahead, so be careful and dont wander far... Mk?"

They nod their heads and one hums innocently. They may or may not wander off... too far...

Koi frowns," I dont want any orgres or orc to get you.."

[Light]

"We'll be good!" one elbows the boy and he yelps, "Y-yeah...!"

She raises her eyebrows, making an unbeleiving 'uh-huh'

The boy snickers a bit and they run ahead of the cart with the ball, kicking it to each other.

Koi smiles and shakes her head, once more casting out her senses

[Light]

After awhile they tire of the game they were playing and move to the side of the wagon. It felt like it was just them in the white wonderland that surrounded them.

Koi watches them from the corner of her eye a small smile on her lips

[Light]

The ground slowly quivers underneath them, but they pay no heed to it. Small movements like that seemed normal to them from all the time they spend in the tunnels mining.

One of the boys glances back at her before looking back down the mountain path... It looked like snow was falling inwards into a crack that was opening up closer and closer to them.

"..." Koi btes her lip and forces the earth to freeze suddenly, causing the thing to slam into a wall of rock and pure ice

[Light]

They stop the wagon and one of the men shout, "An earth worm! It must have hatched early this year," they start to move they wagon to the side, out of its direct path. The ice begins to crack and sizzle, a red-orange glow glaring up at them from the cracks.

Koi feels for the bodily fluids of the worm and squeezes hwr hand, the fluid condensing suddenly...
