The wolf pushed through the snow, unsure of his destination.

Hinatta just shivers and cries quietly, she felt like that wolf had ripped a hole in her heart

The pup falls limp though small whines eminate from its skinny body

The wolf found a small cavern and wrapped himself around the pup to keep it warm.

The puppy whines throughout the whole night, crying for its mom and her familiar warmth

Once morning came Notore was asleep, around the pup. Wearing everything but his cloak

The puppy was no longer a pup but the infant... He slept soundly..

A soft pad of feet crunching snow announced another's arrival

Notore had one red and one bright iridescent purple. He grabbed the child and dashed from the hollow running towards his house, using his white hair to cover his eyes best he could.

When he arrived, Hinatta was curled up on the futon. Shaking and feverish...

Kaiden just makes a small sound before falling asleep

He set the child down with her and ran to his room, so he wasnt seen. Jenny came into check on him, to only find him stitching his cloak back together from the night before.

She walked to the womans room and found her feverish, she got a pan of cold water and a cloth and dabbed her head with the water.

Hinatta moves and sees her child curled up next to her stomach. Tears filling her eyes," Kaiden..."

Jenny continued to dab at her forehead

" Why... Why did your brother..?"

"My brother?" She asked shocked her eyes widening

" he turned into a wolf... And took Kaiden.." She rasps, her voice cracked with fever though she hugged the happily gurgling Kaiden close to her side

"what?! really?" she asked. She had always wondered what happened to him on those nights, now he knew and she didnt know if she was happy about it.

" It had to be him..." She murmurs, er voice cracking horribly, she coughs and kisses Kaiden," my little pup..."

Jenny shook her head "but..he isnt capable of that...no he isnt." She sated trying to deny it

Hinatta looks at Jenny, her gaze sad, she looked really sick...." Ask him than... I can't-" she takes a deep breath as if forcing down coughs,"- prove it... Can i?"

She nodded and ran out of the room and was met by her brother in his cloak. She staggered back"i-is it true?" She asked

"Is what true?" He asked, his face unable to be seen beneath his cloak.
