He looked at him. "This is my punishment for not being early this dawn to assist in the preparation of the morning meal. I must serve it alone. I'm grateful for your assistance, however... it was very generous of you, your majesty..."
Once they were finished packing, Livi waited with the other servants, waiting for the chance to stand and help anyone with anything. They waited on orders.
the king walked out and grabbed his horse. putting his saddle and bridle on he held his horses his best friend and two other body guards finished. one cart was attached to two horses to carry the servants and another attached to two to carry the tents and supplies. Each male in Josephs rank had a large black Clydesdale horse with red eyes while the king had a white Arabian. The males attached the horses to the carts then once the camp as cleared helped the servants up.
Livi didn't want to be included in the bunch. And not just the servants bunch. He didn't want to be included in the group. He hid behind a tree trunk, perfectly concealed, and climbed up the wood to the top most branch so he could still watch while he was hidden from view. He'd wait until they were on the move before he'd follow. He needed to be alone.
Livi was sitting at the edge of the clearing, laying on the ground and gazing up at the stars, the royal blue skirt he wore glinting in the light, the small star-like gems glimmering.
Joseph walked over and sat beside him a glass of water in his hand. He looked at Livi and then up at the stars, wore his usual garb, being a white shirt, jeans and his swords. He huffed and fell back against the ground with a sigh
