"Kit's luck with the ladies is nonexistent," Cat hummed pleasantly.

Kit did as he was told and set the bowl aside when he was finished, "Okay, there. I'm done."

"Field trip?" Kit asked quizzically, looking between Fae and Cat, who was grinning happily.

"Yes, let's!~" His sister chirped, getting up in a flash. Kit slowly got to his feet.

Cat took her brother by the arm and led him along. Kit thought it best not to question them anymore. He just shut his mouth and let them do what they wanted.

They had traveled several days already, just them and a caravan of soldiers and nobles going to attend the littlefestival.

Fae walked the whole time with the foot soldiers, never whining about foot sore or anythig, just walking. She wore a calm expression, all the time joking with the men and sharing polite conversations with te nobles

Cat was currently riding on Kit's back after a few hours of trying to coerce him into letting her. Her slim arms wrapped loosely around his neck and she hummed happily.
